Does this really help with corn and calluses?

Well, maybe. This does provide some exfoliation but probably won't remove corns or calluses. It would probably keep you from getting them if your feet are already in good shape.

Are the micro cleanser "beads" made of plastic?

Carolyn is right... the only particles in this product, seem to be tiny salt crystals, so no extra bits of plastic to clog the planet. It's a great scrub. I ordered a different brand after this, just to try something else, and as soon as this other jar is empty, I'll be switching back to the First Botany scrub.

When using for calluses on feet is it best to soak then first and then apply?

It's a salt based scrub, so soaking the calluses to soften then first wouldn't hurt and might actually help remove them with the salt scrub.

Is this vegan and cruelty free?

It says all natural. I love it. I have been using on my feet on a regular basis for over a year.
