Brilliant Potty - Comfortable and Easy to Pour
I looked around for a long time for a good potty for my 2.8 year-old son. We had been recommended a (VERY) expensive chair-style potty and I really didn't want to spend that much, but we already had a £1.50 potty at home which was flimsy, small and uncomfortable so I knew I wanted something in between. Having read all the reviews of this potty I thought it looked like a good buy and I was right. It really is a sturdy plastic with a good thick feel to it. My son will sit on it for a long time without once complaining and he even said himself that it was comfortable. It does leave slight red marks on his bottom when he has sat on it for more than 10 minutes or so but that is to be expected and as the sitting parts are wide, it never digs into his bottom, the marks are just from having sat there for a long time. But the main success is the pouring system. It really does work beautifully. When the potty arrived (I let him 'choose' which one he wanted on Amazon by giving him a choice of colours!), he was so excited and we tried the pouring out with some water. Very easy to do and then put under the tap to rinse it out. My son loves pouring it himself and saying bye-bye to the contents before washing and drying his hands. I always get him to come and do this part as it encourages good toilet habits as he then flushes the toilet and makes that connection between the contents and the toilet/bathroom (as opposed to mummy/daddy just taking it away somewhere and bringing the potty back magically clean). Of course the success of a child potty training quickly and easily depends on lots of things, mainly that they are ready for it, but having a good comfortable and reliable potty must help. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants a traditional style potty but one that ticks all the above points.

Pink "Pourty"!
This potty is great. I ordered this in pink and my daughter immediately took a liking to it. It is comfortable for her to sit on. It is also extremely easy to dispose of what is left in it due to the design of the potty. How I wish this had been around years ago when dealing with potty training with an older child! This is very easy to empty and also very easy to rinse and clean. Makes everything that bit easy, quicker and things run smoothly using this "pourty" Pricewise it is okay. It isn't ridiculously overpriced like what some are. It seems to be well made and isn't flimsy. I would definitely recommend this potty!

A "wee" little treat!
We started potty training our little girl at 22 months (over the summer). In anticipation - I read lots of reviews and had seen so many strong reviews on the Bjorn throne chair style one that we thought, "It's pricey - but it will hopefully be worth it!" It didn't go down that well - partly because I was foolish and didn't check how BIG it was and our daughter is TINY for age! (Though I am sure,if she was twice the height - she would have loved it, it looks like a gooden!) This pourty is a great little buy... - It's great value and better quality than the similar "cheaper potties" you find elsewhere. We had a peppa pig one and it was so lightweight - not good when you are dealing with a "full tank!" The pourty is stable! - It does what it says on the tin! For our little one, it seems comfortable and she uses the splash guard as a little handle to hold onto while she wees! It is much easier to clean than the two other potties we had got, the "pour" feature is genius! - It is a good enough size that at the beginning, we chucked it in a plastic bag and took it with us whereever we went! (First alfresco wee = whilst feeding the ducks at the park!) - It is a really lovely colour - I know this IS a silly point... but you end up spending A LOT of time with the potty... it's a great, bright, turqoise-blue which would work well for girl or boy! We have the ol' only-stands-to-poo-in-her-bedtime nappy (when she's alone in her cot!)issue at the moment but as far as getting her dry, after a dodgy couple of weeks to start she only ever has the "occasional" accident now when she is teething. She progressed well from the Pourty to the "big girls loo" too! It's simple, clean and good quality - twas a good guy!

Just as described and much more.
I bought three of this amazing potty in different colours in the hope to potty train my triplets with and was not prepared for the reaction. There's fierce completion between the triplets, two of them especially and in about two weeks, my kids are potty trained, just like that! Amazing and very affordable items. Am not sure if its's the cute colours or design but it worked. Size is perfect, functionality is perfect, design, amazing especially emptying it and colour just cute. Thank you.

Perfect!
A great little potty! The thoughtful design makes this a very functional and easy to use potty. The handle placement is just right and the pouring spout makes it much less messy. Our boy sits comfortably on it and hasn’t had many issues with spills. It is also sturdy, good value for money and we like the colour.

Great Product
Just wanted to say how good I thought this Potty was . We have twin boys and so potty training its a difficult job , but the great colours and the stickers made it easy. It made it fun rather than a chore. Must say strong design , along with the easy pour , what more could we ask for . Overall a great product and thank you

Good little potty but sadly has a manufacturer defeat
We have used this potty for a few months and it's been really useful, its easy to pour the contents into the toilet and clean, it's also small enough that it can be taken on days out if needed. Sadly it looks like ours has a manufacturer defective that has caused a crack in the bottom along the molding of the base and it's now leaking, I would advise you to check the base of your potty when it arrives and send it back if it looks like the molding on the bottom is faulty.

My 15-month-old toddler loves this potty so much she is potty training herself! We were not planning on potty training for another year or so, but wanted to have potties around in case she wanted to try them out and just to get her used to them. I had this one, in pink, set up in the corner of our bedroom on a bath mat with some books beside it and showed it to her and told her it was her potty. When she woke up the next morning, she asked us to change her diaper, but as soon as I got the diaper off she jumped off of the bed, went straight to her Pourty potty, sat down, picked up a book, and went! We were not expecting that! She uses it every morning now, all by herself. It's the perfect size and height for her to get on and off of, and it seems very comfortable for her. Sometimes she'll sit on it for ten minutes or more just reading and doing her business! And the Pourty couldn't be easier to empty and clean. We just dump it into the big potty, flush, and rinse the pourty with water in the tub. A few things to look out for if you decide to go with another brand or style of potty: We have one other potty so far but it's too tall even for our tall girl to get on and off of by herself easily, the actual part to potty into is tiny and the edges leave red marks on her chubby tushy, and it's cumbersome to clean (several parts, and if you've ever seen a toddler potty, it doesn't always go/stay where you want it to). It's also very "cutesy" which is distracting for her (she'd rather play with it than sit on it). I'm going to do myself and my little one a favor and just buy another one of these, or two! It's perfect, and it's the only one she'll use! PROS Ergonomically designed for a toddler (comfy!) Easy to empty and clean Portable Perfect height (squatting is good for pottying!) Affordable (get one for every room!) CONS A nonslip trim around the base would be a great addition If you're potty training an older child, the Pourty might be a little small

Shipping took a long time, but we expected and were okay with that. Everything is as described! This thing is AWESOME! The plastic is sturdy, and I love that it’s just one piece; very easy to wipe down. And the pour spout is SO CONVENIENT, and it even has a little ridge at the top that helps keep it from dripping after you pour! The “splash guard” definitely works, too! Our 14lb 4-month-old sits comfortably on it, and I (5’4”) can easily squat to hold her in place. My husband (5’11”) has to sit on the ground, but that’s probably more of a flexibility issue(; UPDATE: Baby is about 6 months, 16 lb, and 26”, and we still love it! Sometimes we hold her knees up, but she does love being able to sit up by herself and put her feet on the ground.
