Bought as a present but has been really useful for the recipient. A great teaching aid to get one of the most important fundamentals for golf beginners- The Grip.

This trainer is great for improving swing speed as it weighs more than a club and can be swung basically anywhere letting you practise away from the course. The grip is brilliant and will help you to perfect your grip to eliminate any issues there. However, do not use this exclusively instead of practising at the range. It should be used alongside normal practise. It is hard to know if you're practising good form and can allow you to easily learn a bad swing habit.

This is a really great little golf practice aid and very well made. It is exactly the right weight and length to practice grooving your golf swing in a confined area. Also the fitted training grip reinforces the correct grip. If you are a keen golfer like me it is a must have practice aid to improve not only your swing but grip as well. However I would recommend tightening up the weight as it arrived very loose. Before using it and after using it everytime.

It’s not a whip. It’s quite short. Fairly heavy. Excellent grip which immediately corrects your golf grip. This is useful in itself. It’s great for 10 minute practice sessions. Been using it in the garden and for the money, I think it’s great. For me, it doesn’t replace lessons with the Pro and so you could ingrain faults in your swing?

I am pleased with this, particularly as I got it through Amazon Warehouse at a seriously reduced price compared with other online sources. I like the way that it has helped me to develop a better grip on my clubs and, although it is a bit lighter than I expected, has helped me begin the process of training my muscles to recognise how to swing a golf club. All in all, I am pleased with it and use it several times a week as a warm-up.

Good bit of kit helps to guide your grip correctly. Weighty too so good exercise.

Wouldn't dream of buying this except I work away from home so this keeps my swing going when I spend sometimes weeks in hotels. If I was at home, I would just swing a golf club in the garden or at the Does it make me any better. Absolutely not but I think I would play worse without using this when I was away.

Don't normally do reviews, but this is an excellent piece of gear. So here goes: Order/delivery Easy peasy no hassle and arrived on time. Courier actually texted on day of delivery. First impressions Good quality, well built. Plus there was an instruction sheet, just in case you needed one. The item is about half the length of my Ping driver so quite compact. Using the two weights it weighs slightly more than my driver or 7 iron, but not a problem, I found the heavier feel works well. You can also un-screw the weights and use it just to get muscle memory of the grip while sitting about or relaxing. Just make sure you tighten the weights properly when putting back on before practice swings. Easily fits into a golf bag so can be taken to the course or range. I've just been fitted for my clubs, so I know I'm a 'regular' grip. The grip here fits well and comfortable - if it doesn't - your grips wrong..thats what it's for. Also a nice touch - white 'guide' V's to show correct angles. Use I use this in conjunction with my ZEPP Golf Swing Analyser/App. It works extremely well which means I can be practicing indoors and get the feel and feedback of my swings. Outdoors I do a few minutes with it for warm-up and stretching to get my confidence up. All in all a must have, and for the price you can't go wrong.

Compré este artilugio para mí y para prestar a mi sobrina de 12 años que ha cambiado de set de palos de uno más pequeño a uno de su tamaño. Está en proceso de cambio de swing para adaptarse a su nuevo set de palos, y con esto le ayuda a practicar el latigazo. Incluye el peso de serie del palo, que ya es más que correcto para un niño(a) y para iniciar las prácticas. También, incluye un grip de obligado cumplimiento, con formas duras para colocar las manos correctamente, y te obliga a mejorar el grip. Una vez ya lo tienes dominado, incluye un peso adicional que se enrosca en el peso del palo y que lo hace mucho más pesado y por tanto te ayuda a conseguir ese extra de fuerza en el latigazo cuando ya tienes la primera parte del palo controlada y quieres ir a por un extra de fuerza en los golpes. Nos está yendo muy bien y la verdad, es que lo recomiendo.

Easy to use. Good quality. This is really nice for swing practice indoors, works even with lower ceilings.

Ich bin positiv von dem Swing Trainer überrascht. Anfangs dachte ich noch, dass die Gewichtung ein Scherz sein muss, denn das Ding wiegt gefühlt doppelt so viel, wie meine Eisen. Okay, mag daran liegen, dass ich einen leichten Stahlschaft habe. Der positive Effekt ist jedoch, dass durch das höhere Gewicht die Muskeln besser angesprochen werden und man diese konditioniert. Das Resultat ist, dass die eigenen Eisen viel leichter zu schwingen sind und man dadurch nicht mehr die Tendenz zum "Hacken" hat sondern einen schönen rythmischen Schwung trainiert. Der Griff ist vermutlich für Menschen mit sehr großen Händen gar nichts. Da müsste man wohl eher einen normalen Golfgriff aufziehen lassen. Für meine Hände ist es ideal, aber ich bin auch von Größe, Gewicht etc. das, was man einen Durchschnittsbürger nennt :D Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Allerdings gebe ich zu bedenken, dass der Swing Trainer vermutlich nichts für Menschen ist, die leichte Graphitschäfte in ihren Eisen verwenden und/oder in der Mobilität eingeschränkt sind, sprich Rückenprobleme haben. Dann würde ich eher davon abraten.

Good grip trainer and due to it being pretty heavy, once you switch over to your own clubs you feel a lot of control due to it feeling so light.
