10K Potentiometer Single Turn Carbon Film Rotary Potentiometer 10K Ohm with A03 Knob & Dial for Inverter Speed Regulation Motor Speed Control

Bought this 10k vpot as the second attempt to make a tool I use for work. The cheaper vpots had too much interference and would bounce all over. This unit is solid and the turn is very stiff which makes it easier to zero in on a set value. Based on my experience with this unit, I'm buying more to make more tools for other people.

This worked out perfect was easy to install directions not even needed. Can easily adjust the speed on the go I wish I knew about these things years ago. Governed it from 30mph to about 7 now. Came faster then expected, worked great.

This potentiometer was a perfect fit to replace the Sensitivity Control on the front panel of my antique 1950s Hallicrafters radio. The shaft was long enough to use the original Haiiicrafters knob. Many modern pots have a shaft that is too short.

In fairness to the product, I bought the wrong one but didn't realize it until I installed it. That was my mistake. I usually will hook everything up and test before installing. The reason for the 3 stars is because its flimsy and the knob falls off no matter how tight I get the set screw. The reason for that is the shaft is round without a flat spot for the set screw to tighten down on. Im sure it could be fixed with loctite but at that point I knew I wouldn't be using it.
