The battery pack is just 8 no rechargeable AA batteries in a plastic pack to make it possible to mount it on the Pulse Flex. It's fine, but not great value- a bit of a rip off. I'd not be bothered by that, except a) it takes a very long time to charge up and b) because the flex doesn't have a useable standby mode, the pack discharges quite quickly, as in after a few hours, even when not playing. So the flex is not really flexible. The normally exemplary customer service has been pretty ordinary about this.

It works when charged but takes over 18 hours to go from no charge to completely charged!

Battery doesn't charge/connect to the speaker
Bought two of these batteries unfortunately one does not seem to connect and therefore charge from the speaker quite useless at this point in time would love some customer service.
