BAILI 3-Piece Double Edge Safety Razor Long Handle Wet Shaving for Men Women with 5 Platinum Blades and Stand BD194

This razor is great, but takes some getting use to. I've had two other double sided safty razors, they both been the one piece with the opening door top. One was the one you can get from Target, that comes in an orange box. This one is the first three piece one that you take apart. I like it much better, it feels more solid in your hand. It has a heavy weight and I like the rounded top. And the double sides are nice benefit. I beleive I got my moneys worth on this one

The first few shaves I cut myself several times. Now, weeks later, I rarely nick myself. New blades are really sharp. For travel, I would use a disposable dual-blade razor. Changing the blade takes effort as each blade is individually wrapped in two layers. I place the old blade back in the original wrapping and toss into the trash. The stand is useful.

This is my third DE razor. The first one was a different brand that worked well for about 3 years before the screw stopped working. My second one, also a different brand, was a cheap butterfly one that I found at the grocery store. Actually I shouldn't say cheap because it was $20 which was way more than this one. It was just convenient to pick up when I needed it.The Baili one works better than my other two, mainly because the head on this one is very slim. It allows me to shave easier under my nose and neck where the other ones I had to go over many times. The weight of the razor is good and everything lines up well. The stand is a nice bonus though you can save $5 and get it without it if you want. I like the stand.I have been using it with Dorco Prime Platinum STP-301 blades and Colonel Conk shave soap. It all works nice for a smooth shave.

This is a hard one to review. I love the look and feel of this razor, but the handle needs some work. Wet hands and this handle are not good bed mates. In other words, the handle is quit slippery. If they could etch some grooves in the handle, it would be fantastic. This is a great razor just slippery. I have gotten use to it but at first it was a challenge.

So far - so good! Well made razor that is well designed. I like the stand that comes with it as well. So glad that I made the change back to a safety razor from the disposables. Getting excellent shaves and saving money too. You can by a whole year's worth of blades for a lot less that disposables, or fancy razors. This razor does have a little weight to it, so it works well to let the razor do the work. You don't need to press real hard to get a good shave.

Got this in June 2019. Razor is fairly heavy and easy to control. This was my first safety razor purchase after deciding to get back into wet shaving after almost 35 years! Couldn't stand the price and discomfort of cartridge and disposable razors any longer. This is a mild razor and with good blades provides a close and comfortable shave. Only con is that handle can be a little slippery. This razor is still in my rotation after almost a year and still going strong!

Too heavy and holds blade at bad angle

It’s well built, feels great in the hand and it very mild. It’s great for beginners. You will need good razor blades to use this since the razor is so mild. Cheap razor blades just won’t work in it.
