Super Short Lightning Extension Cable (10 cm)

I've purchased this lightning extension cable so that I can plug the cable directly into my iPad Pro. I have struggled to find a lightning cable with an 8 pin male and 8 pin female ends. I wasn't sure whether this would be successful but I'm using it in conjunction With an OMARS 32 GB USB stick. After downloading the wit stick app and are transferring my files from my Windows laptop onto The memory stick iPhone it works perfectly. I have also been able to transfer my photos from my iPad Pro directly onto the memory stick . This cable and a memory stick where purchased from Amazon. This is an honest review.

Worked for 10 minutes, stopped working, hasn't worked since. Waste of money!

I presumed from the photos that this gadget would allow me to plug in other Apple devices, despite the case/bumper on my phone and iPad making it otherwise impossible. However, the lightning plug is just a fraction larger than the standard Apple charger cable one. This means that it still doesn't fit so I will have to file and cut my case and bumper a bit and file a little off the plug. Not ideal! If this was a cheap lead, I wouldn't mind so much but a premium price surely deserves a well designed item.

Did not fit my iPad Air when it is in its Apple case, the plastic moulding for the Lightning connector is too big to fit through case. Returned the item to Amazon.Fortunately the HooToo stick I purchased at the same time does fit through the case, so I don't need an extension lead.

Does the job intended

I bought a Gmobi iStick earlier in the year for transferring files & documents direct between PC and iPhone / iPad, which is an excellent gadget and does away with the hassle of transferring via iTunes or via Wi-Fi. Whilst the USB end is fine, the base at the lightning connector end is rather wide, making it impossible to fit into the iPhone or iPad if it's in a case, so the case has to be temporarily removed. An extension cable seemed to solve the problem, and this does just that - and at 10 cm is an ideal length.

Did the job

The cable did the trick, but the cable itself is not that flexible, and I am sorry to say, but I snapped the male end, so for just extending your lightning cable it works a dream, but for my use, it was not flexible enough, that is why I broke the end off.
