My little man suffers from "hot spots", usually caused by anxiety. He scratches himself raw. Nothing seemed to work - until I tried this. It's a thickish, clear gel. Gently fragrant, in an easy pump container. It immediately "cools" the skin - much like instant relief from mosquito bites!!! This in turn calms him down & now 3weeks later his fur is starting to regrow. I am impressed

My dog has Cushings disease. She is elderly and Cushings is causing her to have various skin lesions. I didn’t hold out much hope for this to work but it did! Several times successfully treated pus spots/areas with this. It doesnt really have a scent. It’s pretty safe with natural ingredients. I think it is good value for money.

My dog was licking her paws quite a lot. I thought I’d try this as the vet said she may have an allergy. It smells of vinegar (which I guess is antiseptic) and is cool and soothing. Has it stopped her licking her feet? Not really, it may have reduced it a bit though.

This product certainly seems to work. I had tried a different gel on my dog, he had made his paw sore due to repeated licking, but it had not helped. However the Anicura gel had an immediate beneficial result and he stopped licking.

What an excellent product. For the last 5 years I have going to my vets and asking him to fix Sam's coat. All along he kept telling me that it was an allergy problem. Best thing to do, he said, was to take up the carpets and put down wood flooring. Well, beside the cost, as we are pensioners, Also, another vital point, my husband had a massive stroke ten years ago and trips on absolutely anything, i.e. rugs. As he is a big man, I have found to my cost, he is difficult to lift back to standing. Well, I decided to look on Amazon and see if I could find anything that might help Sam. Several products came up, but after reading all the Product Reviews that I find extremely helpful, I saw Anicura advertised as an excellent product for Sam's problem. Another person suggested that the Gel would be better to treat an open wound so I ordered it. It duly arrived 2 days later and I have treated Sam's neck area (about 9" x 6") where there is bare skin, no fur, as he kicks it to death, obviously itchy. This product said that it cooled the skin, so great. I have put it on 3 times a day for 3 days and lo an behold, the area has subsided greatly and fur has started to grow back. I can hardly believe it. I've spent hundreds of pounds at the vets and my poor dog has been very fed up and all I had to do was research on Amazon for a suitable product and just for £10.00 Sam is a much happier dog and I'm telling all my dog friends about it. What a find. You can even use it when there is an open wound and it is not poisonous if your dog does lick it but I must admit I have watched Sam like a hawk since I used it on him because if he licks it off it is not going to heal him very much. If you have a similar problem, do not hesitate, buy this product, Sam even raises his head while I put it on his neck (I think it's cooling as well which is great in this warm weather.

good product easy to use

My 2 year old staffie cross lab has some patches by his rear legs and under belly that he would scratch and lick, clearly something irritating him. They were really bad to the point they were bleeding. We took him to the vets who gave him a course of tablets which cleared it up and stopped him licking but it gave him such bad toilet issues, to the point he went in his bed which had never happened before. So we did some research and we used to use ‘the stinky stuff’ which worked perfectly the first time. He didn’t have anything for a while but when it started again the stinky stuff didn’t work as well. So we ordered this after reading some reviews. I put it on him 3 times a day at the start and then a few days in I could see a difference. Now I only use it every morning and it’s cleared up perfectly. He doesn’t scratch it or lick it. The only downside is the smell, I think it’s the apple cider vinegar, it can smell bad, like off fruit. But for how much it’s cleared his rash for me it’s worth it. He isn’t bothered about it when I put it on him, he doesn’t try and lick it off and I think he enjoys the extra cuddles too!

My Italian greyhound had itchy dry flakey skin. It wasn’t as severe as the others in this review. This stopped her itching just after couple of uses. I used a tiny bit and massaged it into the itchy areas initially tacky but dries to feel like nothing. Highly recommend!
