Car Aircon Regas R134a Compatible Refrigerant x1 + Leak Sealer + Professional Type Hose & Gauge Kit

I was considering returning this as there was some confusion over delivery date, and I purchased another product from Halfords, which was much more expensive. When this arrived before the proposed delivery date, I opted to try this out. My BMW 4 series has been losing refrigerant after approximately 12 months, so guessed it may have a leak, There is a great video available for this installation on YouTube, and as I opted for both the seal conditioner and refrigerant. The gauge that came with the kit, is very good quality. I did watch the YouTube video, which makes this installation simple. My BMW had 0 gas in the system, the seal repair can got the pressure up to 38 bar. I then used the refrigerant and got that can also holding at 38 bar. The aircon is now back freezing again, a simple job, for a fraction of the price of a professional aircon regas.

First time using this kit. Easy to follow instructions, and videos on you tube from the company. Follow the instructions and there is no problem.

I received the item through Hermes, which I honestly had my doubts about due to Hermes being so totally poor. But it turned up and the courier knocked and waited which I was genuinely surprised with. The product itself did have a split on the plastic "nut" below the metal tap(pictured). I was in two minds as to return the item as I could have had a defective tap but as I was so keen to get my air con working, tried using the product anyway. When connecting the "stop leak" can there was no leakage from the can when I screwed the tap in, when withdrawing the tap back out there was a little leakage which may have been due to the can not being screwed in tightly. The refrigerant seemed to all have gone into my cars A/C system as the can was light and empty. On checking the pressure later I could see it was up to 50 psi and A/C was working again, with ice cold air in my car. Overall Im very happy with the product and hopefully there will not be any further leakage in future, but I still have another can of refrigerant should I need to top it up in future. It would have cost £59 at kwik-fit but may well not have helped with leaks and would be a one-off charge. For a close price I have a few additonal air-con charges in the future.

Freezing cold air in my 2014 Skoda Octavia within 10 minutes. Product beautifully simple to use and worth every penny. Wish I'd done it so much sooner, also the package arrived 1 day ahead of schedule.

Worked a treat where the more expensive ac pro failed. So i thought i had more of a leak then i did, Left the leak seal in for 24 hrs then topped up with the refrigerant.

Used on a mk5 Golf tdi, followed the instructions and used the sealant first. got my AC back for a 400 mile trip in 30c, cool as a cucumber inside the car.

Great bit of kit, however. Screwing the cans on to the gauge pipe is, somewhat fiddly. The threads on the can need to be longer or, the piercing spike needs to be shorter. As the kit comes, by the time you have screwed the can on, you will, loose a lot of the gas.
