This L’Occitane Shea Nail & Cuticle Oil is my new favorite nail care product! The brush applicator makes it super easy to apply precisely where you need it, and it absorbs amazingly fast without any greasy residue. My dry, ragged cuticles are now soft and smooth, and my nails look noticeably stronger, shinier, and healthier after just a couple of weeks. Plus, it has that signature light shea scent that’s so relaxing and luxurious. Perfect for keeping up with manicures or just daily nourishment. Highly recommend!

Some reviews note this oil doesn't smell good. I think it smells like tea rose perfume from many years ago. It smells fresh & very lightly like tea rose perfume. The oil itself is very silky & absorbs well. After a gel nail trial for my wedding nails, some were lifting, others had holes, & a couple was deformed with a dent. Either the gel or the light melted my nails & caused Onycholysis (separation of the nail from the skin underneath). It hasn't been terribly painful but caused concern & looks less than flattering. I may be overly conscious of it as no one else really notices. In an effort to heal the skin & the nails as they grow out, the obvious is to never get gels again. I'd never had them before & had very healthy nails & I didn't know what to expect. The next thing to do is care for the nails, cuticles, & skin under the nails. That's where this oil comes in. It feels very soothing on my skin & absorbs quickly. I apply a couple times a day as I remember & have stopped using lotion so products don't interfere with one another. This oil seems to keep my hands nourished as well. The applicator is easy to use & the tube is very small. A person could easily put it in the smallest of pant pockets & take it with them. It can fit into a purse or wallet for easy travel as well. The brush tip applicator is easy to use. Just use a little pressure to press the oil onto the brush tip & paint on as if you were painting your nails. Once applied, I used my fingers to rub around the oil. I don't know if I needed to do that but it made my feel like all the places were reached & my hands are really soft. I like the scent. It's easy to apply the product & the bottle/tube? is small so it travels well. Overall, I give it 5 stars. I wouldn't say it magically heals severe damage such as what I've currently got, but my hands/nails feel better. Less irritation & they are softer. Hurt nails are like a bad haircut; they get better in time. Meanwhile, use this to lessen the pain (or wear a hat with a bad haircut) ;) Through a combination of gentle filing the nail bumps, clipping all my nails short & keeping this oil on, has truly helped heal my nails. After a couple days I could visibly see a difference. After a week, they looked A LOT better. Keep them filed, trimmed, & oiled until they grow out & NEVER use gel polish again. Lesson learned!

Amazing! Worth every penny and I love the smell (smells like baby powder to me) my cuticles always look dry a few days after a fresh manicure. This is a picture 2 weeks after my manicure and they look great. I try to use it everyday but I forget sometimes and even not doing it everyday it’s kept them nice and moisturized.

Great product for my nails. I love the packaging as it is small and easy to Cary wurh with. I use year round. The creme adds moisture and keeps my nails healthy. Not greasy. Absorbs well.

The product is a good price for what you’re buying in my option. A little goes a long way with this particular item, and the it doesn’t leave behind an over oily slippery texture on my hands. I feel like the quality of the ingredients and overall product paired with how long it will last me makes it well worth it for me. I will say that if you have mobility issues within your joints or issues with grip strength using and applying this product may present with some issues. The tube is soft but small so the manoeuvring of it may be difficult.

Not your typical customer probably for this brand, I work with my hands a lot and soap and pool clorine kill my cuticles which are often sore from being so dried out and splitting etc. This product provided instant relief, I'm sold.

Easy to use, it massages into the cuticle really smoothly and smells great!

This was a Christmas gift and I've been using it since January, going through about one tube per month. I believe the instructions are to use it four times a day and I thought that would be difficult to remember but it is SO soothing on my dry brittle nails that I probably exceed that (haven't kept count). Even as a teenager (many moons ago) my nails were thin, splitting and painful, and I have never, until now, been able to grow them. I've used many products and the only other product that was even close to successful were Japanese buffers but they helped a little bit for a little while before going into complete failure mode, at least in my experience. With this product, I did not notice any growth improvement for the first, maybe, six weeks but my nails were so bad that they were almost painful and the L'Octaine product is so soothing that that was enough to keep me happy. Then, I started noticing little white half-moons on the tips of my nails and the painful splits on both of my thumb nails healed, something that I did not expect. My nails are now peaking over the tips of my fingers and they look pink and healthy. It's a little pricey but more than worth the cost. Highly recommend!

So far this cutticle and nail oil seems to have helped my nails look more moisturised and healthy. A little bit goes a long way and the brush makes it east to apply it evenly once the oil is on the nails. However, the way the product works by squeezing the tube, sometimes gets too much oil out, which is a waste. But all in all, I'm happy with the product
