The Bilistic Pro-Series Tooth Polisher was designed to use universal prophy polishing heads. These can be purchased in many online marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay. Most dentists also have them, so you may ask if your dentist would sell them to you. Due to the popularity of our polisher, we reserve all polisher heads for Bilistic Pro-Series Tooth Polisher systems, and do not carry replacement polishing heads.

Why does the bottom screw off? Why is there even a not for use in mouth option on the dial, what is that setting used for?

This is part of the manufacture of the Bilistic Pro-Series Tooth Polisher, and this area houses the power receptacle. It provides access to repair this part of the polisher should the wiring fail. are the polishing heads reusable and/or can you order them?

I continue to use the same head until it becomes unserviceable and then replace it with one from the original kit. I would clean and inspect after each use. A light touch with the polishing compound is all that is required. I have not investigated whether Bilistic has replacement heads but it would be reasonable to assume so.

Does this rotate back and forth or all around?

The cup head tips rotate in a circular motion.
