Under the Ocean (Pop Up Book)

This pop up book is beautiful, it is great for both children and adults ! The paper engineering is clever and story telling. The illustrations are beautiful and added to the paper engineering bit make this book a joy. My husband and myself collect pop up books and this is such a beauty to add to our collection. Would love more of this quality

A really special book - its a keeper. The pop ups and designs are so intricate and really are beautiful. The art work is so individual and they have depicted under and over the sea so perfectly. When I show it to my son he gasps with delight. I will be keeping this one on the bookshelf forever - its glorious.

It is beautiful. Very artistic and with lots of details. Loved it. I am keeping it for a Christmas gift for my little one (his first Christmas).

The text is a bit dry but aesthetically it’s very unique. Would recommend.

the format of this book is unusual - very tall and narrow. it looks weird on the shelf (if you can get it to fit!) but it all makes sense when you open it. Because of the height of the book it allows the popup to come out really far towards the viewer. This gives a lot of depth to the scenes it portrays. They are very simple in technical terms but incredibly effective. The depth combined with the miniture scale of the scenes gives a really convincing impression of space, both above and below the water. I didnt appreciate this books genius at first, but after going through it a few times I feel its one of my all time favorite popups!

The pop ups are awesome, the pictures are so wonderful, i want to live inside the book.. might be suitable for ages 7 and up, as my 6 year old wasn't quite good at handling the book, exchanged it with 8 YO for 'in the forest', which also is a very good pop up book and is quite easy to handle.

Best book ever. Everyday my son want me to read this book for him. And read this over and over and over.

Je collectionne les livres pour enfants... Ceux de cette collection sont absolument magnifiques. J'ai acheté celui en anglais car il est vraiment plus accessible que celui en français ( 3 fois le prix) À manipuler avec soin pour éviter que les papiers se brisent mais bien fait!

This is a magnificent book, so creative and so well structured. this type of pop-up is rare since the concept of seeing above and under the sea in a pop-up book has not been made before that. It's a pleasure for the eyes. If you're a fan of pop-up books, you'll be more than pleased.
