Superb
Terrific value. Elevates (arguably), the best sub £1000 diver to a higher level. Whilst being a terrific watch, the Orient Ray II has always been supplied with a distinctly average bracelet. Not a bad thing as this keeps the price down. Fitting this bracelet completed what is already a fantastic watch. The bracelet fits perfectly, is comfortable, extremely well made & adds a real presence to the wrist.

Essential to know...
So I’m. A big Strapcode/Miltat fan. I have their ‘super J’ and ‘Angus J’ on an SKX 009 and 007 respectively. Both are fantastic and were very straightforward to fit. All my crafter blue straps have also fitted perfectly (king turtle). Judging from the reviews here two of us have had the exact same problem. We both bought Orient Ray 2’s on rubber straps and then tried to fit this bracelet. I’m fairly sure the lugs are drilled differently for the rubber strap versio....because this bracelet is WAY OFF fitting my lug holes. Nowhere near fitting. I have all the tools and experience to do this. After 2 hours I’ve given up and I’ve scratched the bracelet so can’t return it. If you have a bracelet version...go for it, lovely bracelet. If not you must avoid this.

Definitely No Lightweight
This strap fitted my Orient Ray 2 like they were made for each other. Which is why I bought it in the first place. It's a solid, well-engineered and beautifully-finished strap that complements the watch and looks extremely good while so doing. At 179g when fitted, it may seem heavy at first, but you soon get used to it. Recommended.

Great bracelet, poor fit. Disappointing
Overall the quality of the bracelet is very good, but the supplied spring bars are not thick enough, so there is too much play in the endlinks. This causes the endlinks to not fit the watch case properly. The curvature of the endlinks also doesn't follow the lugs, so doesn't look like it fits properly. The watch is almost new, so it isn't any wear causing play. My watch is an Orient Ray 2.

Does not fit my Ray II
This strap is excellent quality and looks superb. Unfortunately the end links did not fit my Ray II despite me taking it to two watch repairers and a jeweller. I would have returned it for a refund but I, stupidly, tried to adapt the end links with my Dremel (unsuccessfully) thus foregoing my right to a refund. My Ray was originally on a rubber strap and I don’t know if this makes a difference to the location of the spring bar holes but it would be worth checking before you buy.
