UPERFECT 2K 120Hz Portable Gaming Monitor, 16" 2560x1600 QHD 16:10 400 Nits Portable Monitor for Laptop w/VESA & Cover HDR Eye Care External Second Screen for PC Phone Game Console

On paper, the monitor appears to be perfect and it is, when it decides to work. I bought it and it was working perfectly, but this monitor randomly stopped displaying and the display just dies. This isn't the not enough power, change display port kinda issue. The display itself refuses to display show anything on screen even though it's shown to be powered on. You can't even access the monitor's built-in settings menu because it doesn't show on the screen. This happens randomly and in a random time frame. I've seen other people have this same issue in a shorter time frame than I did.

Update: Ok, I ordered a new lightning to USBc adaptor. Now when I choose USBc on the monitor via the scroll wheel, the blue light on the monitor turns to solid red, and the screen goes black. The iPad's Display settings show no external monitor. I tried this with the monitor powered directly to the power connector that came wi the monitor as well as powering it through the iPad as shown in the directions booklet. This monitor obviously will not work with my iPad. And same thing happened with a USBc connection to my iPhone 13. Next I used my newly ordered Display port to HDMI adaptor to try connecting the monitor to my Mac Air, same exact thing happened. I have to return this monitor as it will not work with any of my devices where I wanted a portable external monitor. Original: Light is on but no display. At all. Tried my iPhone, iPad (both use a lightning port for charging so had to buy an adapter to get the USBC to connect). Tried my Mac Air, same issue, have to get a connector bec that device doesn't have a native HDMI or USBC port, so used a USB-HDMI connector - nothing. I'm going to order a display-HDMI connector to try with the MacAir. I'm ordering a lightning to USBC Adaptor to try with iPad. This is frustrating because of the product description: "Plug & Play, Wide Compatibility: NO driver needed! Equipped with 2 full-featured USB Type-C ports and 1 Mini HDMI port; Solve the multi-wire winding problem; Easy to connect with game console, Laptop, PC, Tablet, and Phone" What happens? I plug in the USBC-USBC from the monitor to the power source, and yes the light comes on. If I use the toggle wheel to change from auto detect to either USBC or HDMI, then there is no way to 'select' it to ensure the monitor is going to use that. When that menu item is highlighted, the display just goes black. One more connector order but if that doesn't work, we are returning this for sure.

I'll keep this sort. When this monitor works, it is phenomenal! However, I have found the claim that the monitor only requires a single usb-c connection to be extremely misleading. I've tried it on three different computers now and each time, for the monitor to work properly, it needed to be plugged into power AS WELL AS be plugged into the computer. At this point, I'll probably send it back, but I'll give UPerfect's customer service an opportunity to remedy the situation first. I want to assume that I maybe have a defective unit. However, considering that the monitor does not support pass-thru power delivery either, I think it was intentionally designed in this manner. *Update* After speaking with Uperfect they clarified that this monitor is not quite as plug and play as they claimed. They informed me I would need to purchase an external battery for it to work without being plugged into the wall. This will not do for me since I purchased this monitor to be PORTABLE. To be clear, I've attempted to use this with a Yoga 7 PRO, another Yoga 7, a Dell Latitude, and even my desktop PC running over 1000 Watts, with other top of the line components. All of my computers are upoer mid to high end devices. There's no reason why this monitor should not have worked as Uperfect claimed. I've used other monitors in the past that do run off a single USB C port with both my Yoga laptops. I guess I'll just have to try a different manufacturer. I really enjoyed the screen's size and color accuracy, but requiring some other external power source along with being plugged into a computer is a deal breaker for someone who travels frequently for professional work, volunteering, and in my personal life. I'm disappointed by Uperfect's misleading claims, especially after hearing such great things about them from others. I'm not impressed.

Nice screen and it was the right size for my needs but it only worked for about 2 hours. Was using it as a second screen for my gaming PC and then it just turned off while in use. Now it will not power back on and nothing works.. FWIW, I connected via Mini HDMI to PC and ran power from USB C to outlet. It was a nice 2 hours of use but it's headed back to Amazon in it's no working state for a refund..

I bought the Uperfect 4K Portable Monitor, followed all the instructions, and yet the monitor didn’t work. Spent two hours troubleshooting, checking connections, and searching for solutions—nothing. I reached out to customer support, provided detailed information, including photos of my setup to prove the issue. Their response? Completely useless. I even showed them my MacBook's display settings, and they mistook it for a font size adjustment window. 😑 They kept asking for more proof, then more videos, and after jumping through hoops, they still had no real solution—just more ridiculous requests. I'm not an IT expert, but I'm not stupid either. At this point, I gave up, bought another 4K portable monitor, and guess what? It worked flawlessly. My advice: If your Uperfect monitor is defective, return it immediately. Don't waste time with their clueless support—they won't help. Save yourself the frustration.

Over a short period of time i've purchased (and returned) 4 no-name portable monitor. 1. This one - UPERFECT 2K 120Hz Portable Gaming Monitor, 16 2. Magedok OLED Portable Touchscreen Monitor, 13.3" 2K 3. Intehill Portable Gaming Monitor 13.3-inch OLED 4. INNOCN 13.3" OLED Portable Monitor 1080P My opinion? None of those come close to a "proper" brands. PS: I'm wondering who are all those ppl, dumping a glowing reviews in here? :)

Having a difficult time trying to recommend this monitor. I have it connected via Mini HDMI with a USB C powered to the brick included and it just flickers half the time, sometimes it works and signal is sent, other times it is flickering on and off temporarily showing the image on the monitor. Extremely frustrating and annoying. It seems to work Ok with just USB C connections but for some reason it just flickers nonstop when connected via Mini HDMI with a USB C power source (using the included wire and power brick)

This monitor was great until it wasn’t and I needed to contact Uperfect. My two year warranty is set to expire December of this year and my monitor decided to stop accepting video input. It just goes straight to sleep after powering on and will not display anything after multiple troubleshooting steps that I tried with no help from UPerfect. This issue is not due to poor handling and care. It’s been on a monitor arm since I got it and have no problem sending proof. It’s going on 2 weeks since I reached out to the warranty team at Uperfect and I have yet to receive a response. I also sent a follow up email. Funny thing is, when I first got the monitor I reached out to them for help finding the correct screws for the VESA mount and I received prompt reply’s within 24 hours. From this point I will seek every option to get them to at least respond to my claim.

Works very nicely with my acer predator helios 16 laptop with thunderbolt 4 port. I did have issue with the thunderbolt 3 cable that came with the product but uperfect help me get a new cable that went well with my setup. The screen is a perfect match to be used as extended monitor for me as it has same native resolution as my laptop. Tested HDR content and that works as a charm as well. A little pricey but someone who needs portability this is definitely a good choice.

The monitor is well made, with a metal body and vesa mount screw holes which is very useful. Picture is very clear and sharp, brightness is good and menu options for adjustment are good. The only issue is that you have to increase the brightness every time you turn it on because the default setting is on the lowest brightness which is a little annoying. Otherwise this is a great monitor. The accessories are good quality, like the type c cable and the folio cover which comes with it.

Does what it says on the tin. The screen is sharp and vibrant and feels smooth. It's easy to set up. It works well with both my Macbook and Playstation 4. The cables I needed for this were all included. It’s lightweight and portable. If you use it at home a lot I'd recommend buying a (VESA) stand, but on the go the smart case works as an OK stand. Overall, very happy with the purchase!

El producto funciona bastante bien, llego en buen estado, buen empaque y tambien incluye 3 cables para conectar tus dispositivos entre ellos un cable que va de HDMI a HDMI Mini, lo que lo hace muy util. De momento lo usopara conectar una computadora Mac Mini M2 como segundo monitor, mediante USB-C y va perfecto. Incluso he bajado un poco la resolucion pues a 2K quedan en extremo pequeños los textos y objetos del Sistema, pero funciona muy bien, me falta probar con alguna consola para ver el desempeño en juegos pero puedo decir que para trabajar es excelente. Eso si, la "perilla" para volumen tambien sirve para brillo, lo que en mi caso no viene indicado asi que tarde un poco en dar con la opcion del brillo, pero indudablemente por el costo es una excelente opcion para un monitor portatil.

Great monitor for a portable setup. I brought it on a trip to do some work and it was perfect for that as well as bringing along when working onsite with clients. It's lightweight, fits in the laptop pocket of my backpack and the resolution is great at 2k. It needs 2 USB-c cables for power which is a bit annoying, but it can pass through power to the laptop if one of the cables is connected to a power outlet. The passthrough is weak though but enough to keep a MacBook Air charging very slowly. At least it doesn't run out of battery. I had an issue where I had accidentally messed up the display ratio and support was fast and very helpful to help me fix it. If you're often on the move and need a second display, this is a great option. Extra tip: get a magnetic tablet stand to put it on and put a couple of slim magnets on the back so it stays in place.
