It's a *very* good security camera.
It is. Really! SETUP: This camera is relatively easy to set up. The instructions are not the best, but if you read them a few times, you'll get set up without any major problems. I don't much care for voice prompts, (I'd prefer a beep or a ding) but I can see where it would make it easier for someone who is not familiar with these devices. Fortunately, unlike some other cameras, it does *not* voice prompt every time the camera resets once you get it set up. WI-FI: Like many wireless cameras, it only operates on 2.4 GHz, so if 5 GHz is a must for you, you may want to look for another camera. My cameras are on their own 2.4 GHz mesh network using a 5 GHz backhaul. If you're fully wired, you can also connect using ethernet and the included power supply or a POE adapter. Unlike the camera this one is replacing, it *always* stays connected to the network. A definite plus for me. UTILITY: It rotates a full 355 degrees, so if you need it to look at the wall it's mounted on, you can. Most of my PTZ cameras are mounted at 7 to 8 feet which, for me, seems to be a good height. Vertical movement is 90 degrees, so unless you're searching for UFOs, you're pretty much covered. I have to admit that I have tried - but don't use the alarm or tracking functions. We have lots of bugs flying around here and, for some reason, bugs and palm trees are often identified as human. ๐ It does properly track a person though. RECORDING: Since I am a Blue Iris user, I don't have a need to record to SD Card. I tried it out just so I can comment on it, and I can tell you that it works as they claim and as you would expect. VIEWING: I can zoom in (it has both optical and digital zoom) and view things over 100 feet away at night using the IR LEDs. It works much better than I would have expected. With the white LEDs lit, it pops into color mode and works like a charm. The picture quality in the IR mode is great - and in the daylight mode it is superb. No, let me correct that. Not superb...FANTASTIC! (see photos) APP: There are lots of settings in the app that are pretty much self-explanatory. I set it up with Smart Life, but I believe its designed for TUYA Smart (which I assume is quite similar.) I may give that a try just to see if there are different options. As I said, I use Blue Iris, so the app itself isn't that important to me. BUILD QUALITY: I have 6 other Eversecu cameras. All of them (including this one) seem to be built quite well, with quality materials. No clicks and rattles and movements are smooth. I would like to see another 6 inches or so of cable attached to it. MOUNTING: The mount seems very sturdy. There are three mounting holes in a triangle configuration. Anchors and what appear to be stainless steel screws are included, as are sealing covers for the power, Ethernet, and reset button. (I mounted in an existing hole to take pics, but will move it up and add a box to shield the connections from the elements.) IN CONCLUSION: If you're looking for an extremely good PTZ camera with optical zoom, I don't think you'd be dissatisfied with this camera from Eversecu. It performs like cameras that are twice the cost.

Excellent image quality but horrible web-based application and even worse tech support
Nice image quality in both day and night modes. The IR image is clear and the white light provides nice color image. The Pan and Tilt movements is quite responsive. I was able to get to work with Blue Iris after playing around with it; it would have been nice if they published the RTSP code. My problem is with the web-based application. I can't get the video to show up on the screen. I've attached a screenshot of what you get when you get on the web application. I've tried all kinds of ways to install the ActiveX plugin but I get CRX_HEADER_INVALID. I've emailed for tech support to the email address on the box but it appears to invalid email as well. Does this seller really want to support this product? I would appreciate getting some help; like I said it is a nice camera but I'll return it if I can't get the web-application running.

Affordable full featured PTZ
I have installed and used several brands of IP Cameras, many costing much more than this. Overall impression is for the price you get a decent camera. Rated as 5MP with a 20x Zoom and Pan and Tilt, it compares to cameras costing much more. The procedure scanning with the QR code can be confusing, but worked after my 3rd attempt. After downloading and installing the Tuya application I started over by holding the reset for 7-8 seconds (I tried setting the ip via ethernet connection initially) Waited for the prompt and scanned the QR code. Now were in business. The PTZ function works well. The camera control via web browser gives you all the features you would need for set up. Wi-Fi range seems to be excellent, as I have found on most of these Wi-Fi cameras itโs only 2.4GHz. Picture is very clear both Night and Day time, the Human detection troubled me a bit, it pings your phone immediately but a time while I was monitoring it, the app said human detection but no one was there (Ghosts?) There is no user manual supplied as to the Browser settings most items are self-explanatory but there are several items I have yet to figure out, I reached out to the supplier and requested documentation, as of this writing I have not received it. I have not been able to connect this camera to my current NVR Digital Watchdog, but that doesnโt mean it canโt be done. Iโll update this review when I get the rest figured out.

optical zoom works well
As others have commented. This is a huge camera, your neighbors will definitely notice it. and the auto tracking feature just draws more attention to the camera. Also when it detects a human and begins the auto tracking, it turns on red and blue LEDs on the top of the camera, kinda like police lights, and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn them off. If you want your neighbors to know that you are surveiling them as they walk past your house this one will definitely do that. I consider this a NEGATIVE. Other NEGATIVES: 1. The auto cruise feature and the 360 pan feature that they advertise doesn't seem to exist in the app. Maybe it's a pay subscription feature, but I couldn't find anything like it in the free features in the app. 2. The customer service from this vendor is pretty worthless. They do respond to you but it's clear that they don't know anything more than you do about this product or it's features. 3. The auto focus function, which is absolutely necessary with any optical zoom camera seemed to work great before we installed the light. We tested the light before installing it by just holding it in our garage and we could read street signs all the way down at the other end of the street. But after we installed permanently under the eaves of the garage, the camera refused to focus when we pointed it towards that same sign. There is no manual focus function! 4. The auto tracking seems to only work when you enable human detection/tracking feature. There is no way to auto track vehicles in the app that I could find. If someone knows how please let me know. The vendor was clueless for this also. Too bad because it would be a great security feature to be able to read the license plates of vehicles approaching or leaving the area of your home. That's also if the focus works properly if you could track vehicles. 5. It claims ONVIF compliant, but you can't really set it up because they don't provide the user and password information for this camera, and I couldn't find it online anywhere. I haven't asked the vendor but my expectations are low POSITIVES: 1. Setup on the Smart life or Tuya automation apps is relatively simple, but there doesn't seem to to any way to trigger automations based on motion or human detection, so this might be considered a Negative. 2. The optical zoom really improves clarity and this camera might really be 5 megapixels as claimed, but I really don't know because I can't use my ONVIF tools to determine it's resolution Overall, the Wi-Fi connection stays connected much better than the cheaper cameras, but it only works at the 2.4ghz band despite what it claims. You do need 12Vdc power. They provide the 120Vac to 12Vdc wall plug, but if you had a remote location you could easily rig up a solar powered battery configuration if you are a DIYer.

Overall a Great Camera - Issue
This camera is the best camera I have tested with one exception and I don't think the issue is with the camera. This camera has the best quality of images I have tested. I like the automatic zoom it has when it sees a human. It tracks the person and keeps them zoomed in while following. That's a great plus. It allows manual zooming in as well. It will zoom to 20X. Every function works on the camera as described. If you are looking for an outdoor camera that works this is it. I tested this camera during a snow and ice. It passed the test. ONVIF: I normally like the ONVIF capabilities to connect to my system. In this way I can use different cameras without needing to use a lot of different apps. This was an easy setup and all functions worked as expected. The only CON i found with this camera I believe has something to do with with the TUYA Smart App but I cannot be certain. It works well in the app until you want to see it as a full screen image. I use an IOS phone and tablet. With both of these devices, when I view the image in full screen the screen turns white. Once in the full screen view I cannot get out of the full screen white image. I have to shut down the TUYA App and open it again to get to the smaller screen. This is the only issue I have found with this camera.

Camera always comes to disable if I want to see in my smartphone. No motion detection overnight.
I put this camera to continuously recording because no alerts in messages. Video from the camera is good but useless with no motion detection.

Nice picture and camera lens
The image quality is superb. You can optical zoom 20x with perfect clarity and digital zoom another 10x. They stay connected to WiFi with no problem. Setup is very simple, download Tuya app, turn on the camera, show it a QR Code and it's connected. Updates are quick and easy, I sent Simon my device id found in the Tuya app and he pushed the update. Click, click and the camera was running the latest Firmware. I am very pleased with these cameras and the support from Simon @ EVERSECU I hope you find the attached video useful. I zoomed in on a pile of rocks to show how wonderful the Zoom and Auto Focus is. You could spend a lot more money for a similar Camera - this is an excellent value.

Really, really good value. High quality support
I took a chance on this relatively new brand of security cameras. I must admit, I bought this one because the price is attractive. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this wireless PTZ tracking camera. The app works great, but I only used it to set it up. I use Blue Iris for my home and business security software and it picked up this camera instantly after clicking on 'Find/Inspect'. The video quality is amazing and so is the tracking. With this camera covering such a big area of my yard, it will actually replace a couple of fixed cameras. When I had a question, support responded almost immediately. Their first line of support was very knowledgeable and actually able to resolve a few questions. I will be back to buy more cameras when budget allows.
