Dependable everyday black ink that behaves well on most paper
I’ve been using this Quink black ink with a fountain pen and converter for general writing, and it’s been very consistent. Flow is smooth and predictable, with no hard starts or patchy lines for me, which is exactly what I want from a daily-use ink. The colour reads as a proper black on normal paper, and it looks tidy for notes, lists, and anything work-related. Drying time has been sensible for everyday writing. I can write at a normal pace without constantly smudging, although like most fountain pen inks it will still depend on your nib and the paper you use. On very thin paper you may see show-through, and with a broader nib you might also get a little feathering on low-quality paper, but that’s common and not a fault specific to this ink. The bottle size feels like good value and should last a long time unless you write heavily every day. Overall it’s a reliable “set and forget” black ink that performs well and doesn’t demand special paper to look good.

Lovely ink colour lasts for years without loosing quality
I have used Parker Quink for years. The quality is consistent from start to end. I don't get any changes in the liquid, I don't need to add water because of clogging, there is no clogging at all. The drying time is reasonable. The only issue is that I don't think it is water proof, but I don't need it to be. It works with all of my ink pens. Easy to use and lovely black colour.

Even my writing looks good.
There is nothing quite like a Fountain Pen for writing. They leave ballpoints in their dust cloud. Coupled with a nice pen this ink flows onto the paper under your control unlike ballpoints which run away as soon as they touch the paper.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Ink That Elevates My Writing Experience!
I've been using Parker Fountain Pen Ink in Blue-Black for a few years now, and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. The 57 ml bottle is generously sized, offering plenty of ink for my regular writing sessions, and the packaging is classic Parker—elegant and durable. The ink itself is exceptional. The blue-black hue is sophisticated, providing a perfect balance between traditional black and a hint of colour that adds character. On official documents it photocopies as black so I can tell which is genuine and which is the copy. It dries quickly on the page, reducing smudging, but still has enough time to allow for smooth writing without any interruptions. I love how it performs on different types of paper, always delivering a crisp, clean line without any feathering. But do watch for some bleed on certain papers. The Quink formula also does a fantastic job at maintaining the health of my fountain pens. I've noticed fewer clogs and a generally smoother flow since switching to this ink. Plus, it's easy to clean from the pen, which is a bonus. Mainly it's used in a 50 years old plus Parker Duofold and a couple of modern Lamy pens with both broad and medium nibs. If you're looking for a high-quality ink that offers both style and performance, I highly recommend the Parker Fountain Pen Ink in Blue-Black. It has added a touch of elegance to every word I put on paper!

Fine old Parker Quink ink as it should be
Looks the same, smells the same and works the same as the old inks I remember. Just different packaging and no "Solvex"

A quality blue-black fountain pens ink.
It’s so difficult to find ink for a fountain pens on on the High Street these days, so it was a delight to find this old friend on Amazon. Parker Quink has had a much deserved reputation for being a quality ink. I like its stable bottle. The blue-black flows well, is less harsh than the black and more defined than the blue, with no noticeable variation in consistency. As the Quick-Ink/Quink ink name implies, it dries quite quickly. This ink scans well when using a medium nib. I have used it for more than fifty years and have never found any faults with it.
