Kapitan Toilet Roll Holder Self Adhesive OR Screws Mounting, Stainless Steel

I had the benefit of a "handyman" to fit out my bathroom; he commented that he thought the quality of the Kapitan items was excellent and that in particular the way that the fittings were affixed was far better than what he usually sees with bathroom accessories. I am very pleased with the look of the items that I have purchase which include a toilet roll holder, holder for a spare toilet roll, soap dish, and mug/glass with holder. The only issue I have is that on removing the mug from the holder, the protective plastic ring intended to minimise risk of damage to the mug/glass does not stay in place, and comes away with the mug/glass. I bought two of these holders, and the same issue occurs with both; so, have removed the protective plastic and am using this without it.

This is a really well made loo roll holder. I've fixed it using the 3M adhesive pad, and it seems incredibly well fastened - can't see it falling off any time soon. I wonder if the people complaining it wouldn't stick actually followed the instruction? It's very simple - clean the tile with glass cleaner then an alcohol wipe, then heat the area with a hair dryer for 2 minutes and the pad for 15 seconds. Then leave it alone for 48 hours before attaching the holder itself. Love it so much I'm going to buy some of the other bathroom fittings.

Next day delivery, easy to install (used the self-adhesive option) - seems sturdy enough for everyday use although a touch lighter and a little less sturdy than expected. Then again, if I wanted 100% sturdy and for it to last for decades I'd have purchased an antique holder - since I'm renting, this does the trick and looks neat and fresh without spending a fortune. Recommended.

A product worthy of the name.... The adhesive was a little cumbersome to attach as the wall and the sticky adhesive pad both needed to be warmed up with a hair dryer - so if you’re bold, this product ain’t for you. Once attached and the required amount of hours have elapsed before roll can be suspended your opinions are limited to either left hanging / right hanging / straight up / left or right jaunty angle dangle etc, the only orientation that might be a little tricky is straight down as your roll will in all probability fall to the ground.

The bar of the toilet holder needs to be a centimetre longer to comfortably take a standard, full Andrex toilet roll. Also the instructions are sketchy, in difficult to make out visual form: they should tell you to put the nuts for the gripper screws back into the plate before fixing the plate to the wall - essential if you are gluing it on. That said, the holder looks smart and the glue worked well.

We chose to screw it to the painted walls. Looks good and sturdy. I was worried that the toilet roll might easily fall off the holder, but the knob at the end so far hasn't failed and the toilet roll has remained in place on the holder. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this as I have a Kapitan towel rail. It looks great. However the self adhesive pad did not hold it on the wall for very long and so it had to be screwed to the wall/tiles.

Estupendo...tal como se describe. Volveria a comprarlo. Tiene un pegamento(pegatina) trasero por si no tienes q hacer agujeros. Yo aproveche uno de los agujeros anteriores y con el pegamento ha sido suficiente. Queda muy fijado al baño.
