This is an attractive, sturdy, well designed, easy to assemble cat house with a substantial heating pad, a durable "no chew" cord, and 2 exits to prevent the cat from being trapped by a predator. I couldn't wait for it to arrive for the sweet outdoor cat that adopted us. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, the side of the box had a hole cut out of it, and the plug was missing (it had the cord, just no plug). The package was delivered in the original box--if it was double boxed in an Amazon box or bag, it's likely that the plug would have survived the shipping process.I contacted the manufacturer, and even though the missing plug isn't their fault, they are replacing it. I just had to complete a simple form, and was contacted quickly by customer service with a tracking number for the part. If I could give the manufacturer 6 stars, I would! I would give the Amazon seller 1 star for poor packaging.

Very happy with the build quality of this item. For the price point this item is well beyond a good value. The cat seems to love it as well.

The house gets put together easily and has storage under roof. It's made of a nice rip free type of material and wipes clean easily. The sides have some insulation and the door flaps are nice for keeping wind and cold out and I added straw. I thought it was purrrfect but my feral lady didn't. She likes to stretch out a bit and all she could do is ball up, the house was just a bit too small for her liking. It sat outside and never used. Oh well. I tried.

I take care of an outside cat .. she won't come inside, I tried! She loves this little house, and when it's really hot out, I put a few ice packs underneath the padding to keep her cool. It was easy to set up and is easy to clean.

No water gets in!!! I purchased 2 for outside cats and I'm so relieved they have perfect shelter, after all I live in south Florida and rain and wind are common events. They stay dry and warm inside. I put a piece of shower liner over the roof and secured it wih clothesline pins as a reinforcement but is not really needed. Last night we had winds over 20 mph with heavy rains and this morning all good. Today we are having heavy rains with winds all day and they are both in their house. I am buying 2 more and my friends with outside animals are doing the same. Highly recommend these wonderful houses.

It's good for a kitten, or a cat that likes curling up. My cat prefers laying like a loaf, and this would have him hanging halfway out. Due to the size, he won't even go in. Back to plan b of another large pet carrier with a heating pad and blanket. At least I know he enjoys being in his pet carrier.

Purchased this for the outdoor kitty I've been feeding for the better part of a year who joins me on the porch of my upstairs flat. Arrived quickly, the box was bashed and taped but everything inside was fine. I am clueless in reading pictograph instructions but I had this put together in under 10 minutes (I know because I had something baking in the oven and I was done in that space of time). Kit took to it immediately. Went inside to check my lunch and she already made herself at home. There are other choices for outdoor homes, some wood and some converted insulated coolers. I can't speak on the merits of those, but this meets the requirements I wanted for her: two entry/exits so she isn't trapped, a sloped roof to repel water, ice and snow, and a size and material that will insulate without having an electric cord running out the door of the flat. I don't think it will stand up to intense wind, but it is substantial enough for ordinary conditions. The shiny walls look like they'll be warmer than straight wooden walls and obviously she's comfortable in it; I've checked on her from noon til almost 8 p.m. and she hasn't left it except to come out to greet me and have her supper. It hasn't budged from the spot I put it, so it isn't blowing around. It hasn't rained today, so these are first impressions, but the construction is tight enough for stiff accordion walls attached with velcro strips, really pretty ingenious. Overall, I am very happy and the price point with free shipping is a bargain. I am confident this was a good choice.
