Does the job of $20ish per pair premium shorts
Like many guys, I'm not tickled with most of the undershorts on the market. Your choice seems to be between the cheap boxers or briefs or the premium designs like Tommy John or Duluth Trading. While you definitely get comfort from the premium designs, even $14 per pair on sale seems downright silly for a small bit of material. You are better off buying these to give you the support and separation of the "dog and beans" and adding a standard pair if you don't like the coverage. These give great support, but minimal coverage, which is wonderful if you are walking around in standard pants or shorts or about to get in on with your lady in the bedroom. Not so wonderful if you need to dash out and get your newspaper or mail. But the cotton feels wonderful on the bare skin, prevents the "dog and beans" from chaffing and actually feels better than total nudity. As an added bonus, there is plenty of room in the "dog and beans" pouch to grow, so it can comfortably fit even a full erection before you peel them off to pleasure your lady and yourself.

seems to be good
Nice product. It is underwear we are talking about, not world peace. How excited are you going to get as long as it fits and serves its purpose? I only gave it 4 stars though since I do have one problem... it is a 12 pack. I ordered the 12 pack, the package says "12 pack" but the end of the package was already opened and it turned out to be a 10 pack. Yeah, I am not happy being shorted 2 shorts but what am going to do? Get in a lengthy e-mail discussion about my underwear? I figure if someone at Amazon or UPS suddenly found a need for 2 pairs of underwear, they have bigger problems than I. Also, how would they remedy this failing. Would I have to send back the 10 I have and hope the next time, they get it right? They send me 2 to make up for the shortage? They probably would end up sending 2 of the yellow ones. Who the heck had the idea to make underwear yellow? That is like making toilet paper brown. If I ever get into the accident my mother warned me about years ago, I will end up at the hospital and everyone will think I have a bladder problem. 2 pairs of underwear is not worth enduring the snickers from people who are trying to save my life so I will settle for just the 10 I have (actually 9 since I still can't see wearing the yellow ones). It is not the end of the world and if it is, it shouldn't be over some stupid underwear

Vey good value!
These briefs have about the same cut as the Hane's sports brief. The Hane's elastic waistband is loose for comfort. However, it's a bit too loose. When I pull of my pants, sometimes the briefs come with them. The elastic for these briefs is just right. It's not constrictingly tight, but the briefs stay on when I take my pants off. It's been really hard finding good briefs. Briefs are for men who work out, and take good care of their bodies. I think that in the last 10 years or so, people have gotten fatter, and less willing to wear clothing that flatters their bodies. These briefs have a very good athletic fit, and are sold at an extremely good price point. Less than half of what I'd pay for a *somewhat* comparable product at Target or Walmart.

A good substitute for Jockey Elance, and much cheaper
Fabric good, breathes well, lightweight. If you wanted "briefs," not bikini, you'll be happy with them. The description calls them "bikini," but they're not. They are sport or athletic cut briefs... and that was what I wanted, i.e. briefs... Bikini cut normally would have a higher cut leg, nearly to waistband, but these are athletic cut men's briefs... Another reviewer identified them as such, and that was why I bought them. I prefer briefs.Fabric claims to be 100% cotton, but feels like there is some polyester there too. I liked the fit of the jockey elance slightly better, but they're much more expensive and these do the job.For soft waistband, these can't be beat. I've worn the jockey brand since college days, but these are a worthy successor. Some have complained about the fabric being pretty thin, but that's part of the benefit of these. They work well under any kind for garment, from your dress slacks to lightweight casual summer clothing, or running shorts.Size runs true.. I'm 170 pounds with a 32 inch waist, and the medium works just fine for me.

They are not really bikini underwear.
Very comfortable, fit as expected, soft. Do not particularly like the double front panel. More coverage than bikini
