Contura - Triple Roll Dispenser for foil, cling film and paper towel.

Our original dispenser, which we had for around 20 years, finally succumbed to age and one of the cutters broke. We replaced it with a slightly less expensive dispense and what a mistake that was. It was flimsy and feeding the foil and cling-film into it was a nightmare. The Contura is night and day better in every way! Sturdy build with quality materials. Easy to load the foil and cling film and the cutters are robust and cut cleanly without huge effort. If only we'd seen it sooner it would have saved a lot of frustration and waster cling-film! CAn't recommend it highly enough. Great value for a quality product.

This is a good product but I am unable to cut cling film on it - it just creases up instead of cutting. No problems with the foil which cuts easily. This takes 300mm (12") rolls although the paper towel fitting is adjustable and will take bigger sizes. I note that one reviewer has said 'once they mastered the technique of cutting cling film' so perhaps I just need to practise it in different ways.

An excellently designed product at a good price for a stainless steel unit which looks very neat on the wall. It cuts both film and foil cleanly and without fuss. Another big plus is that new rolls of film and foil are very quick and easy to replace and do not involve putting strain on any part the unit. Other dispensers I have bought have eventually broken because a plastic bracket had to be slightly bent each time a new roll was installed. The paper towel roll sits neatly below and is easy to replace. Also, there is no issue regarding the diameter of the cardboard tube found inside the roll. The diameter of this tube varies between manufacturers in some countries and is an issue with some dispensers The best wall dispenser I have ever used.

Originally purchased the plastic Leifheit 25703 Parat model as it had lots of positive reviews, but mine was useless (didn't cut, the end of the rolls kept disappearing, threading the rolls was tedious, and the opening mechanism was ridiculously awkward). I then found this Contura model. Although very expensive, it is working exactly as I hoped. Being stainless steel, the remaining end of the clingfilm sticks to it once cut and stays in place so it's there when the next piece is needed. The replacement of rolls is easy - the unit opens with one button, and threading the end through the slots is straightforward. The cutting works smoothly and reliably so far. Being made of stainless steel, the Contura is heavy once the rolls are in place, so if you want to mount it on the back of a door (which I did), it requires a very strong door. I'm so happy to have made the investment and hoping this will perform for years.

As an idea it is perfect, the kitchen roll part is fine and it works well. However, when I came to fill it with my rolls of kitchen foil and cling film, I found them too long to fit in. The slots are nowhere near wide enough lengthways, luckily I was almost at the end of my foil and when I bought a new pack I made sure that it was a short width pack. Adding my cling film to it was another matter entirely as I hadn't long started it, so the roll is pretty full and far too thick to try and chop a couple of inches from the length...I'd probably need to use an industrial saw! lol I don't know how long it will be until I'm ready to replace that one, so I can't fully use this item. The best part of it is, that it does look good on the wall and at last I could get rid of the hated wooden kitchen roll holder. If I could have used it properly to begin with I would have given it 5* instead of only 3.

This is just a waste of money, expensive and not working well. I bought this product early last year, because i thought is a quality product, only started using it late last year, the blade is so dull. Initially I thought may be because is new. But now after 5months, is not even cutting at all. Honestly I am disappointed.

I love the dispenser - looks great quality when up on the wall and is functional. No problems tearing either the clingfilm or the foil as long as you put them in the correct upper or lower positions as stated. No difficulty buying 30cm long rolls either - Bacofoil is one. Our fat kitchen roll fitted within flexible grips. BUT, their itemised invoice shows they charged VAT on the £6.66 P & P I chose to pay to get it quickly - this seems wrong and is not how other suppliers handle P&P.

Jättebra att ha på väggen i köket, så jag har hushållspapper, plastfolie och aluminiumfolie på samma ställe.

Es un excelente producto. Quizá se tienen unos inconvenientes al jalar el papel de emplaye, no se si sea por la manera de colocarlo o la marca que uso, pero en general es excelente.
