Action Fitness 100% Silicone Treadmill Lubricant for Belt Maintenance - 4oz Bottle, Dual Applicators for Easy Lube Application - Extends Life, Smooths Operation

Prior to this I'd been using the Horizon manufactured 100% silicon lubricant. I wasn't thrilled with the Horizon brand lubricant because the bottles were too hard to squeeze and you could never get all the silicone out. It made lubricating the treadmill a challenge, even if the product was good. Nevertheless, I figured it's best to stick with the Horizon brand. But the price went up quite a bit, so I decided to try this one instead. The Action Fitness silicone lubricant has been a good replacement and seems to work just as well as the Horizon brand. But it's much easier to apply, as the bottle is much more flexible and easy to use. I applied it a couple of months ago, it's holding up well, and I've not observed any incompatibility with moving from the Horizon lubricant to this one. I also found the long tube to make it easier to apply as well. While that tube was quite helpful, it would have been even more helpful had it been more rigid. Once you get that flexible tube under the belt, it's hard to control the position of it. If it were a more solid/rigid plastic, I think it could make things even simpler.

I have an expensive treadmill with a wide platform. I'm very diligent about keeping the belt lubricated because it extends the life. I've noticed that the middle part of the belt has become lighter and is shedding a bit. The applicator with this oil is brilliant; I was able to get to the middle part. This is a game changer for me in taking care of my treadmill. I keep it stored with the extender on it with cap and bottle upright. I had no leakage problems and the application went without issue. I did not find the oil to be sticky at all.

Seemed to do the job and was a little easier with the extension tube. My other instructions for the old lubricant wanted a zig zag of the lubricant all over underneath the treadmill. I just followed the instructions on this lubricant and hope it is enough

This silicone oil is a generous supply for the price and the long tubes make application super easy. I can leave the cap with the tube on since it has a tiny cap to seal the tip and prevent leakage. With a quick squeeze and release it sucks the residual silicone back into the bottle. It recommends in instructions to unplug treadmill before use, and I disagree with that. Best application is run the treadmill on lowest speed and slip the tube under the belt and gently squeeze while the tube travels the full length of the deck and then slowly pull out while squeezing the bottle gently stopping just short of the edge of the belt by about a half inch. Repeat on other side. Uses way less than the gel types. My belt is now traveling on the deck at a higher rate of speed with zero drag or friction. This matters since I only like to walk at 3.0 mph and it was seeming to go slower than when it was new. Now it is going smoothly and at the correct speed. Very nice and best lubrication I have used. I don't quite understand the gel products that are sold because they don't work as well as the liquid version. Highly recommend and will definitely repurchase.

Worked great. Saved my 20 year old treadmill. The tread only needed a good oiling.

Easy to apply under the treadmill mat with the long reach, just don't get it on the mat, it's hard to wipe off.
