Very Quiet
I've always been a Samsung fan but when the rotary dials on my microwave failed I opted for a Panasonic. I'm glad I did, it's very quiet, has a good instruction book, uncomplicated to use, variable settings up to 1000w (adjust your cooking times down). The only thing that I'm not overjoyed about is the shiny silver is very easy to mark with your fingers but it is easy to clean. I hope it lasts the 9 years that the Samsung did.

Best microwave I have ever used
This Panasonic microwave is the best microwave Iโve ever used. It reheats food evenly and really fast at max power without drying it out and Iโve never had cold spots like on some other microwaves. Iโve also never liked defrosting stuff in the microwave because it would always end up half frozen half cooked, but the chaos defrost of this one is amazing, defrosts very evenly. The power is easily adjusted and because itโs an inverter it doesnโt switch the heat on and off but actually reduces it. Overall an amazing appliance.

A very good replacement
Firstly it's a Panasonic and it replaces our older panasonic model, this one is more modern and has a self cleaning function along with dual fuction buttons and is noticably more powerful.

I was dubious about it's capabilities, I was wrong.
Such a good buy. This thing heats with delicacy and that has to be its best feature. I can heat butter to soft on the lowest setting, and pasta sauces on the low medium are never boiled at the edges. It's been nothing but joy so far. The upsides FAR outweigh any perceived downsides. When I set it to medium, it cooks at 400W constantly. Same with defrost, it cooks at 200W constant, so food defrosts more evenly and quicker than a normal microwave. That is the beauty of it, instead of cooking at 800W for ten seconds, then turning off for 50 seconds, this cooks at 140W for the whole minute, so food gets more evenly heated. It's most noticeable reheating pasta sauces and pre-cooked meals, I can set it to 400W and leave it an extra minute and it heats the whole thing evenly throughout, instead of crisping the sides. So, it's an inverter microwave, and that put me off to start with, as it only has 5 heating settings. That's all it needs though. The facts are that it doesn't just heat like the old microwaves used to, and there is hardly any sound when cooking. When I warm up my pasta sauces nothing explodes in there so no spray of sauce pinging off the lid in there ! If you are used to an old style 800W microwave, get a 1200W+ inverter one, at 1000W this is not as quick as my old 800W, but it is much better. Cold coffe or tea heats in roughly the same time, but simmering and heating large volumes of liquid takes a little longer. It means I can heat a bowl of peas and after doing four in there, I only saw one pea that had fallen apart. EDIT: Wow, Now I'm four months in, I was stood there the other day watching my scrambled eggs in the microwave and realised I would absolutely HATE having to go back to the old style of ovens. I cook two eggs on 1000 for the first minute, give a quick whisk, then another 1:30 on 600 and they are cooked beautifully. I make some toast, the butter is out of the fridge, I cut a thin slice, slap the toast in the microwave on 400, and after 15 seconds the butter is just melting and so easy to spread. The best thing, is the way it cooks constantly at 1000/600/400 etc. You can watch it simmering stuff wiuthout goin ON OFF ON OFF ON OFF ON OFF and boiling, waiting, boiling, waiting. Yep, no way am I ever going back.

Great value, look no further
When it comes to microwaves, Panasonic is the clear leader. This model in particular comes with a range of settings and modes which the majority of users will never need, but upon testing a range of them, it's clear that the designers have put a great deal of thought and engineering prowess into each. With a large number of competing products on the market, manufacturers have become desperate to add on differentiating gimmicks to stand out, often at the expense of core usability. Not so here! Popping something for a reheat, defrost or quick cook is simple and intuitive, and heating is even, thorough and fast. The available cleaning mode is surprisingly effective at removing odours, and on the whole this is a very easy machine to clean. The build quality is excellent, and I can see my microwave lasting me for many more years - which makes this great value for money.

Wow, very impressed
This was a great purchase after I smashed the glass front on my last microwave. It's very poweful and fast. It's also the quietist microwave I've ever owned. The Inverter feature and chaos defrost work very well, heating from the middle first rather than the outer edge. When I've defrosted chicken before it always cooks a little on the edge before the middle is defrosted, but not with this, it's all very even. Very impressed!
