It was easy to Incorporate: The powder is incredibly fine and light, and it blended seamlessly into my mixture of oils, butters, and powders without any clumping or graininess. It dissolved effortlessly and distributed evenly. 💦The most immediate and impressive benefit was the boost in hydration. My skin's moisture levels were noticeably improved throughout the day, providing long-lasting relief from dryness that standard butters and oils alone couldn't achieve. I was pleased to be able to get this result without having to make an emulsified moisturiser. An unexpected but highly appreciated perk was that the silk peptides subtly blurred my fine lines. The resulting balm offered a smooth, soft-focus finish that enhanced my skin's appearance. They also contributed to a luxurious, silky texture in the final product, improving the overall feel and application. I was dubious about this powder as it has a strong and unpleasant smell. Thankfully, this did not carry through to the final product. The upfront cost of a specialty ingredient like silk peptide powder might be higher than standard oils, but a little goes a long way. I incorporated them at just 2.5% in my balm. I anticipate using them in body butters and lotion bars in the future and will therefore be purchasing this product again. ❤️

It’s my first time using this silk peptide in ny diy, and am so happy I did use it in my lotion making the lotion so silky and absorbed into the skin . Will definitely be using it from now on in all my diy.

I bought this for use in my homemade leave in conditioner. Works great, though I’ve never used any other brand of silk so I can’t speak on its legitimacy. But I think it’s good quality because it really added strength and smoothness and shine that I don’t normally achieve from that same recipe without it. Would recommend!

This silk peptide powder comes in a resealable plastic bag within another resealable bag. The powder is made of very fine particles and it smells nice and fresh. The quality is good and the product is very easy to use in skincare products. Just be careful when you're opening and closing the bag- the fine powder really flies out and is easily inhaled. I just finished making a banging body butter called Sandalwood Silk Body Butter. It contains natural and organic plant-based ingredients like shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oil, argan oil, monoi de tahiti oil, avocado oil, vitamin E oil, rosemary extract, allantoin powder, sandalwood essential oil and lavender essential oil. It's divine, melting right into your skin and deeply moisturizing and nourishing it. I used about 1/4 tsp. of the silk peptide powder, in comparison to about 1.5 cups of all the oils. Some of the clumps actually didn't absorb perfectly into the oil, but most of it did. It works much easier into hot oils. Overall, this is a decent natural ingredient for all your homemade bodycare goods!♡
