Very Useful Tool
This is a must have tool for anyone who fault finds in an engineering environment. It lights when close to a magnetic field, so when for instance a pneumatic or hydraulic valve or electrical contactor/relay energises it will light. very basic/simple, but so helpful when trying to trace faults. Don't confuse it with a volt-stick - Its much more useful.

Quality item just watch out for the prices you can get them for around £11.That is a genuine one at that price I got stung on here.

Faulty product
Never used product tried it out yesterday for the 1st time and the light stayed a solid red light indication of magnet field working but nowhere near any magnetic fields etcTried again this morning same thing again solid lightFaulty product

Does what it says on the tin. Ideal for confirming, or otherwise, contactor/relay isolation for service technicians, and fault tracing.

Good product but...
all the batteries had been taken from the 3 packets! Pretty unusual but there you go. The product was purchase for a client of mine. A little unprofessional supplying with batteries missing.
