I believe it can. Double check the fire rating on the label. If you use an energy saving cold bulb it should be fine.

I would like to purchase the purple for a swag around my patio door. It’s to go on top of a white wall. Would the Color show with one layer?

I think it would. I bought the blue and the fabric is thick and bouncy with a real vibrant colour in just one layer.

Is the product very flammable?

I used it to make flowers and curl the edges with a candle which seals the edges But as for VERY flammable it is a fabric so hence it will burn
