Logon response ready
I was looking for an adapter or cable that would automatically recognize my external monitor when I powered ON my laptop. This adapter works great. I got the resolution and refresh rates my monitor offered. No complaints here.

Works great
used the adapter from our dock station USBc to DP to the monitor. Connecting directly from usbc to usbc, the monitor blinks/flicker once in a while. using DP prevented that.

Wish I had more framerate
Was having issues trying to get a monitor to work. And I thought this might help. Give it a shot and finally got the mile to going. The only issue with this is I can only get 144 frames a second. I really wish you would produce more, but overall declarity is as good as it's going to get.

Works Like a Charm!
I have a new 2023 Mac mini (M2 Pro) and an LG 49" UltraWide monitor (LG 49WL95C-WY). For some reason, I struggled for quite a while trying to find a way to connect with the max 5120 x 1440 resolution. USB-C / Thunderbolt wasn't an option because I have that dedicated for my 2021 14" MacBook Pro and like to toggle between the two. (The monitor's USB-C works great! So if you have that option, you should be golden.) I tried almost seven different cables and adapters, including other name brand ones, like Anker's. (And, yes, all were alledgedly rated for 8K and Ultra High Speed 48 Gbps.) In the end, this USB-C to DisplayPort adapter was the only thing I could get to work. It is connected to a Cable Matters 16 ft DisplayPort Cable 1.4 (ASIN: B07L15MYWJ) straight to the monitor's DisplayPort. I don't have any issues with refresh, connection drops, etc. It works great!

Solid product
I use this adapter to connect a Dell monitor (P2419H) to a MacBook Air. I had been using an HDMI adapter but this gives much better results.
