I’m having a really hard time getting the slide and canvas on. Seems like the nuts are going at a slightly wrong angle. Help! Video?

You may have to loosen some of the bolts/nuts to shift the other bars into position. I had to go back and do the same to get the whole dome to contort to the positions I needed it to to line up the bolts w the pre drilled holes. Once you can line up things, then go back and tighten the bolts up. Due to the stresses on the blue bars, some of the bars may need to slide up/down on their bolts that connect to the yellow disks so you can stretch the bars to the seat/canvass holes. Dont forget to put the canvass on the cross bars before you tighten everything down. The Slide goes on last. Hope this helps and wasn't too confusing. Cory

What ground cover is necessary ?

Probably a 5 ft by 5 ft radius for the money it cost I should have got a bigger one. But for children 3 an under it's perfect.
