Great Motherboard
Ordered two of these motherboards to upgrade older PCs that did not meet Windows 11 requirements. Selected this MB due to large number of SATA ports (8) and rear-panel USB ports, great CPU support, and positive reviews. Wasn't disappointed - both motherboards were easy to install and connect, both booted right up. BIOS configuration menus well organized and easy to understand. Love the Fan speed control adjustment tool in the BIOS. Only con is the small number of PCIe slots (3).

A lot of motherboard for not a lot of money
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great motherboard, a lot of features for not a lot of money. This board is also aesthetically pleasing with the camouflage pattern and color scheme. Quality packaging and the board itself feels like it's good quality just by going by weight, pcb thickness and feel.

Rock solid, indeed
So far, this motherboard is working perfectly. Not a single hiccup. Everything is speedy. More ports than I will ever need. Everything is working great. I have an M.2 SSD drive and the computer boots windows 11 really, really fast. I love this board. I upgraded from a 6 year old AS Rock z370 Taichi (which was still working well) and expect this board to meet my needs for another 6 years.

Questionable shipping placement.
Great, it arrived and is legit, if you know, you know. I admire the efficiency of the employees, however they slapped the label on the box and that is it, grateful I was at home to get it, left out in the open. Now for the nitty gritty, no, just no, I thought it would be a simple install but for whatever reason, the MB refuses to acknowledge the windows 10 OS on my SSD, it acknowledges the SSD is there on the BIOS but can't boot to it, there are no guides on this.

Nice board
So far good motherboard, nice looking performs well once you do all your due diligence or the set up could be frustrating and lead to an RMA. I'm know pro, so hope this helps some. One last thing, Install the CPU cooler of your choice from the start pre boot! Otherwise, the board will shut down due to heat before you can get anything done. Take note of the BIOS version listed of the approved QVL memory list. My board came with BIOS version 2.07. However, the compatible memory off the list I ordered was showing version 5.02 required. Could not get to post so that I could update the BIOS with the memory. Tried all the tricks and slots etc. I found a stick of memory on the list that matched the 1.08 BIOS, installed it, and it then posted. I could then update the BIOS to version 8.05. That then allowed my original 64GB of memory to then be recognized and post fine. In any event, if you are having post issues, check the fine print on the memory for Raptor Lake or Alder Lake QVL list and compatible BIOS version for your CPU and memory of choice. Also look at all the drivers listed in the MB downloads. See the pictures. If you use a SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD with Heatsink 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 Internal Solid-State Drive, it will not fit under the included heatsink on the motherboard, if u want to use that slot. You have to use another slot or get an SSD without the heatsink. See picture, red circle shows the included heatsink, under which is 2 SSD slots (1 Blazing M.2 (PCIe Gen5x4), 1 Hyper M.2 (PCIe Gen4x4). (You can use one or the other). Blue arrow is another slot that fits an SSD with heatsink. Posted and installed Windows 11 pro fine using this slot.

8 sata ports, 5 m.2 nvme, ddr5-6000 ram! Works great with i7-14700k!
My Unraid server needed an upgrade and I had some specific requirements like as many sata3 (6gb) ports as I could get, support for 14th gen intel cpu, support for ddr5 ram, support for at least 3 - m.2 nvme's. This board met all those requirements. Mounting in my Antec P101S case was breeze, it even has onboard usb3.2 ports that link to the front of the case. Installation of all m.2 hardware was a breeze, even comes with supplied heat spreaders. The user manual and firmwares available online were easy to find and very descriptive. The bios update went flawlessly, I can boot from USB (great graphical interface in the bios too). I now have my unraid server set up with 8 sata drives, 3 m.2 nvme's (one of which runs at gen5x4 speeds - 12,000mb/s). Great all around.

Wow! What a great board
This is not your daddy's ASRock! These guys have come a long way from 10 years ago. This board is feature rich and stable. Couldn't be happier.

Works for unraid.
Used for unraid server for plethora of sata ports. Plug and play. Just works. Using 96 gigs of ram for fun. Power usage is lower than running a Xeon board.

good, paid more for the board (230$) than my CPU 14600kf (159$ new on black Friday). Most users really don't need 500$ Mainboards anymore nowadays, since you don't really need overclocking with modern CPUs getting to 100° out of the Box. So it was pretty good value for the money, decent mid-range board. Don't even miss my previous Asus Rog Maximus Hero XIII one bit. Biggest problem so far: It doesn't have a local disable Block SID Setting in BIOS, so enabling Hardware Ecnryption with BitLocker can be a little more complicated, run elevated PS $tpm = gwmi -n root\cimv2\security\microsofttpm win32_tpm $tpm.SetPhysicalPresenceRequest(97) or something like that to disable it for ONE REBOOT ONLY, so the very next boot has to be immediately to the installation Media (after PSID revert if had been encrypted before and/or a mandatory secure erase), then enable GroupPolicy>Windows Components>BitLocker Drive Encryption>Operating System Drives>Configure use of hardware-based Encryption and deselect fallback to software encryption. Now you can try to enable Bitlocker via GUI or elevated CMD manage-bde C: on If it gives an error like Fallback to Software disallowed, that means you will very likely not be able to enable HW encryption because something went wrong. Instead of trying it with other settings, better to start from scratch, or you will have to do a PSID revert of the drive making things even more complicated and add more unknown elements in the future. Any way, you can apparently save up to ~ 40% performance degradation as compared to software-based encryption on some drives. My 9100 Pro with HW-E still has easy 13kMB Read+Write Sequential, so not that far away from the best possible PR lab results and probably no major performance loss (unfortunately I never ran a benchmark before encrypting and won't turn it off now).
