Milenco Precision Calibrated Nose Weight Gauge Caravan trailer, silver

Very sturdy, well made & VERY accurate. Worth the money for the sake of safety. Don't waste your money on cheap alternatives like we did prior to this.

Works well, good quality

Bought this to check the noseweight of our camping trailer as our car is very limited in it's towing weights. The gauge is sturdy and well made and comes with it's own bag. The gauge is easy to read and can only trust that it is accurate.

This gauge is fantastic, i had a seriously difficult time getting my nose weight down to 75kgs (limit on my car) with my old gauge, when i did hit the 75kgs the caravan was awful to tow. I purchased this gauge and to my horror my old gauge was miles out. The old gauge was reading 110kgs when this gauge was reading 55kgs. I loaded the nose weight to 75kgs on this gauge and the van now tows like a dream. Its much easier to use than the old gauge, it has a solid base and very clear markings. It feels sturdy as i would expect from milenco products, it also comes in a handy bag to store it in. I now keep this in the locker and use it on each outing.

This gauge replaced another make I bought very recently which I reviewed elsewhere and gave it 1 star. Thank goodness I now have a decent piece of equipment at last. This one seems strong, well made, substantial, easy to use and easy to read. No gimmicks just an excellent product. I have to admit that I haven't checked its accuracy but others say its accurate and I have no reason to disagree. It also comes in a natty little drawstring bag. All I have to do now is to try and load my caravan to get the noseweight right as it always seems a bit light!

Pour pouvoir mieux équilibrer notre caravane, permet de connaître le poids en flèche, du moins à titre indicatif car ce n'est pas précis au kg près mais cela donne une bonne indication pour éviter les erreurs de chargement. Je recommande.

NOTE: Maximum rated weight is 287 pounds (not 237 as stated in another review here). This is for lightweight trailers only! I really wish this and its larger counterpart were more readily available in the US, because it is far more convenient to use than the bathroom scale method, and is equally accurate. The only nuisance is having to convert from kilograms to pounds, which is no big deal. It’s well built, easy to read, and very portable. Shipping from the UK took about two weeks. Well worth the money and the wait as far as I’m concerned. Does seem to go in and out of stock, so if it’s showing as unavailable, give it a few days and try again.
