DS Plus MSM Joint Health for Dogs - 180 Chewable Tablets

I have been using this for quite a while now for my 11 yrs GSD who was struggling to rise after he had been sleeping, and was suffering from intermittent lameness on a front leg. Had lots of test at the vets, mostly inconclusive, they didn't say don't try this supplement. but advised it was unlikely to make a difference. I decided I had nothing to lose. I can't say for sure this product has helped, but my GSD no longer struggles to rise, is enjoying his walks again, and hasn't shown any sigms of lameness for months

Our family always have had large dogs, such as Fila Brasilieros and Mastinos. These breeds are known for their heavy build and therefore they may get problems with their joints later in their life. Cosequin was recommended by several vets here in the Netherlands as one of the few products containing Glucosamine that had proven positive results and the lab testing reports to show for it. Since we use Cosequin for our dogs their problems with joints diminished or disappeared entirely. Our dogs stay healthier and more lively even when they get older. When they are on Cosequin there is no need to give them drugs such as pain killers and (although we cannot prove it) it seems that they suffer less from arthritis.

Seems to help our 7 yo male Doberman with his joints. Since he started taking them 6 weeks ago. he's able to stand up from lying down much easier. Have just reduced from 4/day to 2/day.

We have been giving our Estrela mountain dog cosequin for a few years as she struggles with her back legs (she's 14 years old). I was never sure how much good they actually did, but recently our usual supplier let us down and she was without any. We were having to help her get up and she stopped coming out for walks completely. We weren't sure if it was a coincidence given her age and overall general mobility, but we ordered these and what a difference! We still have to help her up sometimes, but she is getting up a lot more on her own now and coming out for short walks every day. They definitely do make a difference, and despite not being cheap, they are worth the money.The tablets are about the size of a 1p piece and roughly 5 times as thick. They are quite chalky in texture, and whilst our dog won't eat them as they are, they can be broken in half and hidden in other things.Overall we are really pleased and will definitely continue to buy these, especially as they arrived the next day.

My dog has been taking these for about 1 year now. I bought them for my, at the time, 9 year old Lab/Spaniel cross after I noticed her increasingly appearing “stiff” in the early evening. Within days of taking these tablets the stiffness has gone, and has never returned.One unforeseen added benefit was to my dog’s coat. Her fur became extremely full and fluffy and feels like the coat of a young dog.One thing though... to describe these as chewable is rather disingenuous as they are just hard tablets, not really chewable in the conventional sense. My dog does not look forward to eating them each morning.I absolutely recommend even if they seem pricey at the initial purchase.

My 13-year-old labradoodle has had an arthritic leg for several years and a couple of years ago we had to start restricting her walks to about 20 minutes max. She had been on a supplement similar to Cosequin for a while, but then I read a survey of such supplements which found Cosequin came out ahead of the rest, so I decided to try it. She's been on it about 6 months now, and in that time her walking and general mobility have become easier and she limps less. As nothing else in her lifestyle has changed, I've concluded that the difference must be down to Cosequin!

I cant really write a honest review as my dog has only been taking them for 5 days. But I do find the tablets to be rather big and as shes 48kg she needs 3 per day starting dose so I bought a pill crusher to crush them to add to her meal as she is on lots of other meds too so by hiding these in her food its less meds for her to know she has had. Although people have recommended these to me for my dog so I thought id give them a try.
