Great everyday food
The breeder I originally got my lovie from had him on an all-seed diet, and naturally, he wasn't keen on pellets at all when I tried to wean him off. I tried crushing them up for him and mixing it with a bit of water too to make a mash and neither convinced him. At the time I was using different pellets, and then I tried this one on a whim because of the smaller size and it was a hit! He took to it instantly and still loves it now. My other lovie who I got from the same breeder (also on an all-seed diet prior) also has no problems with it whatsoever. Getting it off amazon, the price fluctuates a bit but it's never unreasonable, especially with how expensive good quality pellets can be. My birds have wonderfully bright feathers and are both in great health, and of course diet would have a great impact on those two things. These pellets are a great size for lovebirds and I assume would be great for cocktiels as well. The smell is quite nice too, a bit strong when you first open a bag but it's not too offensive, it smells a bit like bubblegum.

Value for money and well liked by my birds.
Liked by all my birds, Senegal, Indian Ring neck, love birds, and a baby conure. I will be using this food again.

Reccomend!
Okay so my cockateil loves this stuff. Id say initially he didnt eat that much but since these birds are very opportunistic eaters, he quickly adjusted to it. The food also smells like bubble gum so your room wont be smelling bad. Although i do worry about the health cons for having food that smells so artifical. Id say just make sure youre still giving ur birdie lots of veg on the side.

Surprisingly successful
Had a hard time getting my boy away from a seed only diet, many times I tried to get him to eat pellets and heโd always toss them outAttempted this food and was an immediate success! He absolutely loves them, has a strong bubblegum smell but he seems to like it and I donโt find it unpleasant either. He does tend to pick out the green pellets and leave the beige ones but theyโre growing on him; i serve along side his fresh fruit & veg and mix this stuff in with Hagen Tropimix. Will be purchasing this again, happy bird

Got there, but only just!
I bought these for my cockatiel who is 9 years old. He'd always been on a seed diet, since I got him at a year old, albeit a really high quality one I bought online. I tried introducing these pellets gradually but he'd just leave them so I had to speed up the process and just added a tiny amount of seeds to the pellets. He wasn't happy and screamed at me for 2 days solid. On the 3rd day, I just gave him the pellets but he'd only try one or two then go back to screaming at me. I was really worried that he was starving himself by this stage and was about to give in and give him his seeds back when he gave in and went and ate them properly. He seems ok with them now but he doesn't seem to get any enjoyment from them. They do smell very strongly when you first put them in the bowl and I'm wondering if this is putting him off at first. I'm going to try emptying them out of the bag into a large plastic tub and let the smell go off them a bit to see if that makes any difference. They seem good value for money, as with seeds the shells contribute to the weight of the bag.The pellet size is great too, I don't think he'd even attempt anything larger.

Easy switch
My 10 week old lovebird switched to this from seeds with no issues whatsoever. It does smell like bubblegum but you can only smell it when youโre close to it so itโs not overwhelming.

Buen alimento

My Quaker loves this stuff with oatmeal
I use these pellets as a base for my Quaker and budgie. I grind it up into a powder (it's the only way they eat pellets) and mix with with fresh plain oatmeal - that's their everyday base meal! I then add a bit of seeds, fresh chopped greens, fruit...yup anything they enjoy, I just add into this base and later sprinkle a bit whole pellets with chia and they absolutely enjoy it ( this is their breakfast/lunch). Now since oatmeal goes bad after long hours, I change them after noon hours, and again get the base ready and add anything I am having (that of course they can safely have) that would be a bit of plain rice, potatoes, plain pasta, sometimes boiled eggs/chicken (no skin included). I like to think that they really enjoy their meals hahaha.

Good feed
Pro:Smells FANTASTIC, bubblegum without being chemically or offensive - who would have thought a natural bubblegum smell occured like this?My birds eat it.Its easy to measure out.You get a lot.Cons:Closure on the bag doesnt work for me.No instructions on how much to give your birds? No daily intake recomendation anywhere.
