how do I remove rust from griddle

You'll want to scrape it down as good as you can first. Then use the cleaner and scrub until you don't see any more rust. It worked for me but it took a lot of elbow grease.

I used it while the griddle was still hot.

Do you have to season your griddle again after cleaning it with Stera-Sheen?

I season mine after every use. Oil prevents rust forming

Works as it should

The scraper is a quality piece of equipment. The scrubbing pad cannot be used on a hot surface or it'll melt (1st hand experience). The griddle cleaner solution works amazing on a hot surface in conjunction with the metal scraper. Comes out looking like new.
