Granddaughter delighted

I based my purchase of this book for my grand daughter's upcoming 5th birthday (she reads at a grade one level; I'm so proud of her, and encourage her to read more) on the many great reviews it was given by parents, grandparents and child caregivers. I have not read the book myself....I have already wrapped it and shipped it to my son and d-i-l to give my grand daughter on her upcoming birthday. No doubt, she will let me know what she thought of the book, as she has done with all the other books I have bought her. Will let you know!

Love all the playful songs in this sweet book. Made me tear up too, when needed support and kindness arrived for Camille. Great instructions for using the imagination to connect to dear ones who are far away. Nice portrayal of how our assumptions can be stumbling blocks. Super impressed by the writer’s skill at delivering all this with heart in a little children’s book.

Great book for granddaughter

My 6 year old is reading at a chapter book level, but still enjoys books with illustrations. We had a really hard time finding age-appropriate story lines that also challenged her reading skills. The Wellie Wisher books are perfect! Each page has a color illustration. The vocabulary is appropriate for an advanced reader, and the story lines are suitable for younger girls. The story lines seem to all be about being a good friend, empathy, and kindness. The Wellie Wisher show on Amazon is a nice accompaniment to the books (free on Prime!), and helps to reinforce the story line themes. My 4 year old also really enjoyed having the story read to her (Camille is her favorite!) and I'd often find the my older daughter reading the book to her younger sister. Our local library does not carry these books, but I won't mind purchasing more, because it seems my girls will enjoy reading them over and over again.

These are highly recommended by me for sure they are super cute stories and kids can grow with them to read as I have my 5 yr old that I read to and eventually she will be able to read them herself I really enjoy these stories with her
