Is the white bag a true white or more of an off-white color?

I think it’s closer to an off white but still very white. Not cream or beige.

Is the white actually "white" or is it a cream?

It’s not cream. It is much closer to a bright white but it’s not white, white. Hope that helps. I wore it with white shoes and a Royal blue and white dress. It matched perfectly.

is this a true white or off white?

I think it’s closer to an off white but still very white!

Is this purse lightweight & soft faux leather?

Yes to both questions. But also durable.
