Ordered this and it works perfectly! I spoke to crucial first on their support before ordering. It is like I have a new laptop! I have the HP Laptop 14-bp0xx from Dec 2017, and my laptop was crashing a little on chrome and to install updates from Windows, so got the upgrades of 2 x 8 GB to upgrade my laptop to 16gb memory. It is like a new laptop and saved time and money buying a new laptop! I liked that they have the video on how to install the memory it is a very user friendly video and easy to understand for someone that has never installed memory, I feel like an engineer haha.

What could I say ? It works as it supposed to do, easy to replace and install, improves my laptop speed and don't need to think how to save money for new laptop (what eventually must happen sooner or later). After a few tests, I'm happy with my purchase. I can honestly recommend this product.

Using the Crucial website, I could put in my laptop's make and model number and get a list of compatible upgrades - eliminating uncertainty over compatibility; then find the part number on Amazon to add in more competitive prices. Sold and dispatched by Amazon, so could be pretty certain that the part were genuine. Swift arrival, and then it is just a matter of opening my old (HP) laptop again (voiding an expired guarantee - again). I use a cheap anti-static mat and wristband (maybe unnecessary, but for the price, I want to avoid uncertainty - again!). The instruction were found on the HP website (the RAM came with no advice etc). Raising my RAM from 8G to 16G has given my 7 year-old 8th gen i5 laptop (running Ubuntu) another boost, eliminating buffering when playing music whilst also doing genealogy (multiple Firefox browser tabs, Thunderbird email, Family Historian under Wine, OpenOffice Spreadsheets and Word processor, plus Zim for my log). Swap file usage is now minimal. Previously also upgraded the data drive from 500GB HDD to 2TB SSD, and the system drive (M.2) from 128G to 1TB using the same compatibility checks. If an old laptop is out of guarantee, do you ditch it and buy new; or do you upgrade?

I have ordered this product (2*8gb) to improve my old laptop speed as I already changed the hard disk from hdd to sdd. Unfortunately the second ram is not fitting into its dedicated slot. I tried a-lot to fit it on. But no use. Had to return it. The performance was greatly improved with only one ram of 8gb. It would have been doubled if the other also fit.

Used Crucial website to find the exact set of RAM for my machine. Installation will vary, for my PC it was a matter of 12 screws and two plastic panels. Works like an absolute charm. Packaged slightly dubiously, although the product arrived pristine so that may just be my perception! Highly recommend this set to boost your device for an excellent price.

We have a low end HP All-in-One PC for our kitchen that only came with 4GB of RAM, so it was at times painfully slow at even the simpliest of tasks. After some research and online videos, I ordered the most RAM I could install in the PC, which was a total of 16GB. So for around $40, I was able to crack open the PC case and install the memory cards without issue. Now the PC runs much faster and everyone is happy. WIsh I would have done this much sooner. Crucial makes good RAM that performs well and is economical as well.
