Very impressive
Whats not to like in a speaker sounding this good at this price?! I've had audiophile standard equipment most my life up until about a decade ago. Rel, Arcam, Monitor Audio, Rainbow e.t.c. So I think I know a good sound when I hear one. I missed that full, engaging sound having been using just a small JBL bluetooth speaker, and a QTX 12" busking PA since then, so I decided to give this Alto 10 a go having heard other similar ones including the Alto 12's, Mackie Thump 12's and 15's. I wanted something I could use not only as a bluetooth device on my phone, laptop and TV, but also for my Karaoke set up. I was actually only after the 8" version of the Alto due to space, but the price is so similar I went for the 10". Genuinely impressed! This Alto is brilliant. Hard to believe how good the low end is while still retaining mid clarity. Obviously its no audiophile standard, but for just ONE speaker that I can use in all the applications I wanted its superb. It gives "nightclub" levels of feeling in the small space I'm using it. Absolute bargain price for this level of sound (and I dont mean volume, but it is LOUD too). There's no point mentioning how it compares to my QTX 12" PA speaker because it simply doesnt. The only negatives I can find with it are the bluetooth is laggy, which doesnt matter if you're just playing music but if you intend it to be synched with visuals like a tv or karaoke lyrics it would need to be wired (which is how I'll use it for those two anyway). I've not tried it with my karaoke set up yet (as Im waiting for the neighbours to go out!) but I cant wait for that! Also when pairing the voice telling you its pairing comes in at max volume which is a bit silly. Neither of the above are a problem as such, just giving my honest opinion on this fantastic speaker. Despite the reviews on the Appstore, I find the phone app for controlling it really good too. I cant see how anyone could be disappointed with this speaker at this price. If you're considering something like this all I can say is buy one. Brilliant.

Small size big sound Alto TS410
Excellent speakers powerful controlled sound , will fill a much bigger space than you might think, well made and feel premium, coupled with the Bluetooth connectivity gives you a great all rounder, Highly recommend !

Good Value and Great Bass
I have owned these for about a year and they have worked well for me - although they mainly stay in the recording studio for the times that artists want to hear themselves at high volumes. The bass end is very impressive for the size of speaker. For one reggae session we ran the bass guitar through them and they sounded as good as the Ampeg setup that I used to use. The weak spot of these, and other Alto speakers that I've used, is in the high end. They have plenty of clarity but the high end is somewhat weird and very different to other speakers. They make real cymbals sound electronic. One reason I bought them was that Alto speakers are fairly ubiquitous with local singers who use backing tracks that I mix so I can check my mixes on them. The other slight annoyance is with Bluetooth where it doesn't seem to be possible to use different devices to set them up and play music. I can set them up from my phone but then have to disconnect if I want to play music from another device so I can't adjust the sound while playing music from another Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth beeps are also annoying - it isn't possible to adjust their level. On balance I would say they are a good buy but it is worth spending more if you can afford it.

unbelievably good
I was as reluctant as you are about the 10 inch and to be worrying about it looking small and childish but my god when it’s half volume you can’t even hear yourself shout. best product since electricity was invented I dj at 18 year old party’s which host 130+ people. Wack this bad boy on a stand and all 130 people are booking ear appointments by sunrise.

Excellent speaker
I bought this to use with my Headrush guitar processor. It is perfect for that. It has two inputs on the back so you can use it as as on-stage monitor or as the main PA speaker. It's also plenty loud enough considering it's nice compact size. It's also quite lightweight too.

Quality sound at great price.
I've recently purchased 2 X ts410. Because of the budget at the moment no subwoofer in my setup. Used in a 10x20m hall. And 60 to 70 percent of power only used. For me there was enough of bass and everything else. I would say those are clear sounding speakers with enough bass and good on the mic too. Perfect for me! I would buy again. PS. Firstly I was checking them in a dining room at home- bear in mind they need space to sound as they should.

Great speaker
Sturdy, great quality, works great for sound at small venue, only at 60% volume and already more than adequate. Took me a few days to realize that there are two options for connecting Bluetooth, and if you choose the wrong one you won’t be able to stream music through it. You have to chose the “Alto TS410” option.

Sound amazing
Amazing sounding speakers, good bass response that makes you feel it in your chest. Great volume and amazing weight considering what's inside!

I considered every make/model of 10” and 12” powered PA speaker on the market - Mackie Thump, Mackie Thrash, Proreck, Monoprice, Samson, etc. With prices so close, I was struggling to decide as the decision boiled down to features and reviews. It was down to the Mackie Thump 212 and the Alto TS410, and I just decided to go with the Alto based upon slightly higher reviews. I couldn’t have picked better. This speaker has a great full sound. For a 12” speaker, it pushes some great bass. It’s got a pleasant sound that doesn’t overemphasize certain frequencies in ways that sound either muddy or harsh. The inputs gave me great flexibility when I used it to amplify my wireless microphone system for a speaking engagement. Also, I was able to set a sweet spot with the volume that made it loud enough to carry the room but controlled enough that I was able to walk right up to it with my head worn mic without producing any feedback at all. The mobile app is great too, allowing me lots of flexibility with the EQ choices and remote control of the Bluetooth volume level. This also makes it a pretty awesome party speaker. I fully intend to buy a second TS410 to pair with this one and run stereo off my Mackie FX mixer. I’d recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, full volumed, feature laden powered PA speaker. For the money, I don’t think you’ll find better.
