Brilliant Germination and Fresh, Fragrant Leaves for Stir-Fries
These garlic chives came up quickly and have grown strong and healthy in both pots and open ground. The germination rate was excellent, and I’ve already cut them back once and had a second flush. The flavour is amazing — like a mix between mild garlic and classic chives — perfect for stir-fries, dumplings, or as a topping. They’re also quite attractive as a plant, with long flat leaves that stay neat. I’ll be growing more of these regularly, especially since they seem happy even in the less-than-perfect weather we get here. Definitely a great one for any herb garden.

Zero germination after 3 trial !!
This packet had zero germination rates. I tried seedlings 3 times since April with different depth, watering and location. Nothing worked. Wasted a lot of my effort ,time and money.

Loads of seeds; grew really quickly
I love alliums and ordinary chives and a read a recipe that called for Chinese chives and was really intrigued! As I have chives and elephant garlic in my garden already this year, Chinese chives seemed like a great addition. They arrived super fast and there were LOADS of them - way more than I could use. I sprinkled some liberally in the ground and they germinated within days. Not a lot more you can want from a packet of seeds than that. They seem good quality and likely to germinate fast. Would recommend.

These garlic chives seeds are a good value, they were quick and easy to grow, the flavour isn’t strong enough though.

So many seeds - I’ll have garlic chives forever....
Took a while to come up - don’t know as this is normal as no instructions. When they did they were plentiful, beautifully garlicky and a fantastic addition to my herb garden. With the number of seeds in the pack you will have an almost endless supply.
