OMG! Where has this tool been all my life?
Edit 11/7/2020: I've been using this set for a couple of weeks at work. I'm still impressed at how easy it is to apply the ferrules, and how well the ferrules hold onto the wire. I've since bought some double ferrules of various sizes (other vendors), and some more of the larger sized ferrules since 25 of the 8 awg (10mm2, which they say is 7awg?) didn't last me very long. I work for a solar/HVAC/electrical contractor, and I've been using the kit almost daily. The only issue I've had, and it isn't a fault of this setup, is that the 10awg ferrules don't hold at all in Wago/lever nuts. That really is fine, because the Wagos are listed for use with stranded and fine stranded conductors without ferrules anyway. Using ferrules on stranded wire before connecting to a breaker or ground/neutral bar seems to give a superior contact pad. I've sacrificed some 12 and 14awg ferrules to test pull-out performance, but I haven't spent any $ on a calibrated pull gauge. I might update this review if I ever do. I tried to upload a video, but AMZN seems to have a problem with my file. I might try to get another video later this week. Original review: This tool is great! It worked perfectly right out of the box, and I didn't have to adjust the crimp force. I used it to redo some stranded 20awg and 10awg wire connections around my house. It went from one size to the other seamlessly and without fuss. I like the variety of ferrules it came with, but I can see I will need to stock up if I want to use them for everything (which I will). It will definitely help to set my work apart from those who don't use a ferrules in their work. Buy it. It's worth it.

Nice crimper
It works awesome , I used it to crimp proprietary ferrules on a din rail distribution block on my stereo 14g or 16g in the same size ferrule they worked fine , 12g crimped with no adjustment , comes with plenty of different size ferrules , nice case , crimped all tight ,I'm very happy with the performance , one hand no problem . I'm happy , Tim T

Excellent Product!
Let me start by stating that I own several ferrule crimpers, both square and shoelace. This is by far, my new favorite [square] ferrule crimper! Pros: ~ The crimp tool feels very sturdy, with a nice soft grip that accommodates my larger hands quite well. ~ The included ferrules are excellent quality! Out of the handful of each that I tested, every one tests at 0R resistance. They are flexible, but not so flexible that they’ll easily tear during the crimping process. ~The ferrules are sized accurately to the American Wiring Gauge standard. ~Unlike some even more expensive brands that utilize sneaky verbiage to describe their products, Preciva is completely honest in their description of their product. ~The price! I would expect to pay double the current price for this well packaged kit. They even included a well laid out and easy to read multi-page manual which will really help newcomers to ferrules and how to utilize them. Cons: ~Doesn’t make delicious waffles. I’m including a photo of several gauges of wire, all “car audio” OFC which is slightly oversized but still managed to squeeze into the ferrules just fine. In order; 8awg, 12awg, 14awg, 16awg and 18awg primary wire. Again, all OFC and all slightly oversized to the AWG standard. They all fit snug and crimped perfect, every time. TL;DR: Excellent product and an amazing price! My recommendation is to buy these now before they realize they can sell them for a lot more than their current asking price!

Verify Your Terminals
The tool itself is great. Read the specifications of the terminal assortment. I assumed it would have a horse shoe pin for speaker wire. If I had read the specs I only would have bought the tool

The Ferrule Crimper Performed as Expected, and One Gripe About Some Vendors
Just yesterday, after only having the crimper in my possession for less that a week, I used it to crimp 5, ferrules onto size 10 gauge wire. It could not be easier. I am building a portable, emergency battery backup system using 2, 12 volt, 230 amp hour batteries wired in series to provide 24 volts to an all-in-one inverter/charger. The all-in-one requires connecting power cords to the unit for the purpose of providing input and output power. The addition of ferrules to the wire ends makes wiring to the all-in-one, or anything for that matter, cleaner and far easier than without using the ferrules. It was definitely worth the price. The only gripe I have... not about the crimper itself, is an overall comment about vendors barely providing the buyer time to use a product before requesting a review of the product. I barely had the crimper in my possession 5 days before the seller, TPSKJ requested a review. This is very annoying. There have been numerous cases when after receiving a product, I have received a review request 1 or 2 days later. This is unreasonable. There are many situations when a product won't be used for days or weeks at a time. Yes, this is a curmudgeon typing this reality-based gripe. "GET OFF MY LAWN!"

Worth the money
First off the crimper defiantly feels nice. It's heavy and seems well built. The selection of ferrules is very good and can accommodate up to 12mm diameter wire. I've used these for small projects connecting to various components almost all of which needed stranded wire. I don't worry about loose or sloppy connections anymore. The crimps are flat on 4 sides ensuring a good mating surface. I will be getting more ferrules as I need them in the future. The ends of the ferrules are open so if you strip a wire too long just trim of the excess and you have a professional high quality connector and crimp. I use these with Wago connectors also to make sure I get a good connection with stranded wire.

A joy to use, and very good value for the money
I was initially after a crimper for bootlace end ferrules, and after adding this Preciva model to my Amazon basket, I saw a different Preciva crimper for spade terminals which I also added. Both had a large number of positive reviews, and at the time I write this, this bootlace ferrule crimper has an overall rating 4.8 out of 242 reviews, and 88% of them are 5-star reviews. Based on these positive reviews, I ordered them both. The following day I was reminded by a newspaper article that a website called Fakespot checks the reviews of any Amazon item you want, and gives a grading from A to F, based on how authentic the reviews appears to be. I was alarmed when I checked both crimpers, and the website graded both sets of reviews with an F (the lowest grading) indicating that it thought most of the reviews were fake! These are often where the seller has offered an incentive for giving a positive review, perhaps asking for a product photo or video upload. It also said "Our engine has profiled the reviewer patterns and has determined that there is high deception involved." Although a bit worried about these dire warnings, I was looking forward to checking out both tools to see what they were *really* like! This is therefore a review for the "Preciva Crimper Plier Set, 0.25-10mm²/AWG23-10 Self-adjustable Ratchet Wire Crimping Tool with 1200 Wire Terminal Crimp Connectors and Wire End Ferrule". The crimper was accompanied by a selection box of ferrules, a nicely-presented instruction booklet, and a zip-up case. The case isn't mentioned in the item description, but I note that some other reviewers have received one in the package too. Other reviewers have supplied photos of what they got, and examples of the crimping, so I won't add my own to this review as I have nothing new to add on that score. Also included was a card which suggested I might like to join the "Preciva Tester community", where I would "get products at a heavily-discounted price or free". I have not visited the relevant Facebook page, nor have I contacted or been approached by the seller or manufacturer. Despite my worries, I am actually very pleased with my purchase. The tool I received makes a very good job of crimping, and the good selection of differently-sized ferrules looks as though it'll last me for some time. The ferrules don't come off the wire when pulled, and the final result is very neat. Because the supplied ferrules have an insulated plastic sleeve at one end, they won't be suitable for all applications. The non-insulated variety are better-suited in small spaces, like UK 13A plugs. I tried to remove some of the plastic sleeves, but they were very well attached to the metal ferrule tube, and I just ended up damaging the ferrule. I have now purchased a collection of non-insulated ferrules to supplement the insulated ones which were included with the crimper. Note that this crimper has four jaws/anvils, and the end result is a ferrule with a squarish cross-section, unlike some other crimpers which have six jaws/anvils, but that's no problem for me. Preciva offer a more expensive six-jaw crimper kit on Amazon, but the crimp range is reduced to 0.25-6mm². The crimper has comfortable plastic handles which don't slip off, and it feels very good to hold and use. It is very similar to other sub-£25 end ferrule crimpers on Amazon (they probably come from the same Chinese factory), and it is likely that they take their design from the expensive Knipex 975304 (also available on Amazon) which is from a very well respected German company, but costs about five to eight times as much! All in all, I am very happy to award 5 stars to this crimper kit, as it is a joy to use. The tool works exactly as I had hoped, there's a good selection of ferrules, and the kit is very good value. Unfortunately the other Preciva crimper didn't work quite so well, but that's for another review!
