SPARGOS Welding Goggles Auto Darkening LCD Eye Protection

Brilliant goggles - helped me weld the top of the chassis on my Land Rover where a full helmet restricts access. Comfortable, easy to set up and use. Front visor easy to flick up, giving good view when not welding. Will probably use them more than my usual welding helmet.

I needed something handy for car welding, it worked just great. Under the car, no probs, clear view, dimming workes great.

I didn't really believe this was possible for Arc Welding, and checked several reviews so as not to harm my vision, and even then was extremely careful about striking the first Arc. I was amazed at the speed that the glass darkened, and could then fully relax, and concentrate on the job in hand. However, only 4 stars, because it's too dark for 2.5 mm Welding Rods, and haven't been able to find any glass grade 8. For effectiveness, I would give the full 5 Stars. What a HUGE difference from the old-fashioned way of having to flip the Glass up and down repeatedly, to hit the right spot. I've only used the Goggles for 1 job, but needless to say, it was "job done" - - - with the greatest of ease.

Excellent for small jobs. You can wear it with your glasses.

Good solar charged welding goggles. Haven't used them yet so cannot yet comment on functionality but they appear very well made, fairly priced and quickly delivered.

Really work well and less cumbersome than a helmet.

Excellent visibility when MIG welding. Great in tight spots where a helmet would get in the way.
