Taygate Snap On/off Prop Guards 2x Red 2x White for DJI Phantom 1 2 3 Quick Connect Tool Free Also Fit on Phantom 3 Standard

These are well designed and fit perfectly on my P3 SE. Be very careful to not overtighten the mounting screws.I had difficulty separating the mounts from the guards prior to installation. I got the two white ones separated and once the mounting pads were installed on the drone, I was able to take them off and on a few times to get them to come on and off without excessive pulling.I was not so lucky with the red ones. I was unable to remove the mounting pads prior to installation. So I installed the pads with the guards in place. Once installed, I could grab the drone with enough force to get the guards to separate, but it was way too much force to do on a regular basis. I then spent 15 minutes with a utility knife gently shaving away tiny amounts of red plastic until I could get them on and off with an acceptable amount of force. The red ones still take more force than the white ones, but I guess too tight is better than too loose.The mounts seem very strong and the guides seem flexible enough to take a minor hit without breaking. Even if I do end up breaking one, I would be happy to order another set and have some spares.The guards came with a lens cap, which seemed strange. The cap is thinner and cheaper than the one that came from DJI, but I was having trouble getting the DJI one off. The new (cheaper) one that came with the guards is much easier to get on and off, but still firm enough to not fall off by itself. I'm glad the included it.I would have given this 5*s if I didn't have to scrape the plastic down to make it fit together. I would recommend these to a friend.

With the investment you make in a drone, prop blades will be a valuable protection. I don't fly without them. They have saved my drone several times. I like the ability of removing them when I put my drone in my case. They do act as a catcher of wind if you are flying in a heavy wind but you don't notice them a ton. I have a DJI Phantom 3 and I catch them in my video if I am not careful.All in all, I like that they are removable and the protection they give to my blades and the drone itself. I would buy these again.

The screws are VERY CHEAP and the provided wrench serves to only round out the heads. I now have to try and remove a few screws of the 16 that must be replaced with this kit! On an expensive drone I should have known better! Now I fear damage to my drone trying to remove the screws that are rounded plus all the others, this kit will come off just as soon as possible. Be very very careful when turning the screws with the provided wrench or another they round so darn easy! The description says tool free so they must be talking about the guards which are NOT easy to remove from the mounts especially before installation to the drone.

Perfect and exactly what i needed. First time flying a drone and i was afraid I would crash while taking off or landing. But this helped ease my fears. I havent crashed it from landing. But one of may batteries had some kind of issue and the drone fell from the sky it completely destroyed two of these guards but all blades are fine and it dodnt damage any other part of the drone. It seems these took all the impact.

The propeller guards were very difficult to remove from their base. Took quite alot of force, I added some vaseline to make it easier. Also because of slight irregularities in the shape of the guards, the propeller came uncomfortably close to the edge of the guards (less than 1/2 inch in some places). Rather than return them, I used a flame to heat the plastic and bend it slightly to create a greater gap between the guard and propeller.

Greatly improve visibility in the air and reinforce the motor-mount areas which are prone to stress cracking. Easy to remove with just a click.Fits well and the mounting bolts came with loctite already applied. Looks & feels like OEM quality to me. Nice product.

Broke on of the guards just taking it off and on . Very rigid plastic be careful installing .
