Great Performance & Easy Installation
This is a nice quick upgrade that can give your performance just the boost you are looking for. Removing the original dimms and installing only took a few minutes. As these dimms are low profile, there was plenty of space if I needed to install close to the cpu fan. On my Asus ROG board I was able to quickly select the XMP profile and overclock to 1866mhz. Overall, set up is an absolute breeze. If you are having trouble overclocking then you need to check settings and memory profile, as this particular ram is designed for this purpose, and I found that the process could not be simpler. In terms of performance, I opened a dozen browser tabs and some additional programs - games, Spotify, Ableton Live etc. I ran three YouTube videos in 1080p and quickly flicked between them. My machine didn't break a sweat. When I checked System Performance I was only using 30% of my memory. In short, I now have enough speed and headroom to obscenely multitask, and the excess capacity to ensure my machine will be future-proof for several years to come. Previously I had been running 4 gigs of ram. This is just not enough for today's kind of computing, and in my opinion an upgrade to 8 gigs is only a short term solution. Wait until we are running/editing 4k videos and playing/streaming HD games in a few years - 8 gigs will be devoured, especially if you are using an APU or iGPU. I can't pretend to know this for certain, but I do remember once installing 4 gigs - not too long ago - and considering it to be a "beastly" setup. Technology moves fast, but 16GB of easily overclocked memory has some staying power. Highly recommended.

Great Price, Great Product
Caught these at a lower than normal price whilst they were out of stock, making buying 32GB of RAM (bought two sets) more affordable. Purchased for use in my new Windows Server 2012 test server but testing in my Gaming Machine. Set the Memory profile to XMP and target frequency to 1600MHz and they worked perfectly. My motherboard is an Asus Rampage Extreme iv (LGA 2011). Not going to test overclocking, I have no need. These score 7.9 under windows 7 an make the use of Virtual Machines a breeze. This is the cheapest I've seen RAM. I want another set for my MiniITX build which currently has only 8GB (2x4GB) of the same brand product. Corsair is so reliable, purchase and you will not be disappointing.

Reasonable Price - Easy to Fit - Excellent Speed
I won't try and explain the technical capabilities of this DRAM - 16GB speaks for itself. What I can say is that the installation was effortless, and for the well known quality brand of Corsair, the price was very reasonable too. One thing to note when assembling your computer; your motherboard will have an optimum 'layout' of the ram slots if you are only using 2 sticks so refer to your motherboard handbook to see which slots are best - it is not always simply matching colours or first in - first out! I would highly recommend this product to fresh builds or upgrades.

Great memory still no faults year down the line.
I got this memory in June 2014 and am happy to say that it is still running strong... Did my yearly health check on the computer 6 days ago and they are still 100% error free. I still get no problems with them and games still run with zero lag.

Incredibly fast RAM - possibly overkill on the size?
I got this RAM as part of my new PC build, and boy I wasn't disappointed with this! Installation (as with all RAM) was a doddle, and my PC immediately recognized the RAM in its dual channel configuration. Once I'd configured my motherboard to use the RAM at 1600 MHz (defaulted to 1333 MHz for some reason) I was blown away by the performance. Multi-tasking is a breeze, gaming definitely experiences a boost, and photo editing in Photoshop performs like I've never ever had it done before. It's a little bit hard for me to differentiate where the RAM specifically helped as this was a totally new build, but in general I can definitely tell I've spent the money on it whilst using my PC. I do however question whether I really need 16 GB worth of RAM... I've not yet maxed it out after a week of testing my PC, but then again I suppose I haven't been trying to host any gaming servers on here yet either - where lots of RAM truly shines. A few of my friends have told me it's overkill; but I personally like the safety of knowing I have headroom for the future, when my needs will increase. I recommend this RAM to anyone building a new PC and looking for good performance, or anyone looking for a memory upgrade. If you're not sure you'll need all 16 GB of this, there is always the cheaper 8 GB configuration which might be more suited for some people.

Good RAM
As ever with RAM, installing it was as simple as pushing it into a slot and clicking some clips to lock it in place. As the name suggests, it's extremely low profile and doesn't get in the way of anything and should fit small cases with ease. In terms of performance: It's 16GB of high quality DDR3 RAM - far more than you'd ever need for even the most intensive games and graphic design programs. The price might seem a little steep but once you buy it; it's done. You need never buy RAM again (until DDR4 RAM enters circulation properly anyway).

High performance RAM, great design and reliable brand
This is an excellent brand, and i started to use Corsair because my brother (a computer fanatic) highly esteems their products. The heat-spreader design is "cool" and actually helps keep heat to a minimum, which is great when i'm overclocking. As soon as i upgraded my RAM to 16GB, my computer's performance was immediately improved. Everything was snappy and programs didn't take as long to load. I do quite a lot of rendering with Adobe Photoshop, Vegas Pro and Video Converting software, so this high-performance RAM makes a real noticeable difference. Coupled with the Intel i5 CPU, my computer is reaping the benefit of 16GB RAM at a high speed of 1600Mhz, which is the maximum compatible spec for most CPU's and motherboards. You shouldn't need to upgrade for years to come after maxing-out with these two RAM sticks. I have not had any problems...in fact i am so pleased with my RAM sticks. I recommend this RAM to everyone.

Great ram, Works on Both ASUS and Gigabyte 990FXA boards
Excellent RAM. As per almost everyone else. You will most likely need to go into BIOS and set for 1600mhz. I have used this Ram in a Gigabyte GA990FXA UD3 and also in an ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z. Both with AMD FX-8350's. I have overclocked the Gigabyte board to 4.7 by changing the multiplyer and voltage. While running the ram at 1610mhz, no problems. On the ASUS Formula Z I tried the ASUS Auto Overclock feature which changes the HT clock ,which also affects Ram speed. I let it go to 4.6ghz and the ram was running at 1685mhz at 1.5volts, Again , no problems. On both boards I used a Phanteks PH TC14pe (5 Heat Pipe) Air cooler. The clearance is about 1/2 inch above the Ram heat spreaders on both boards. With a little finesse there is no need to remove the cpu cooler to install or remove this Low Profile Ram. As a note, I also use 7Gb of the Corsair 16gb kit for RamDisk (on both boards) using it for temp Internet Files (set to 1024mb, Auto Update and do not delete), also allowing me to use the remaining 6GB of RamDisk for often used games or Photo editing files. Doing this gives you a data transfer rate of about 6,000MBps, far faster than my SSD's of 500MBps. Doing this greatly speeds loading of Internet pages you use often, as well as any program or files loaded on the RamDisk. The current "sweet spot" for ram amount is 8 to 16gb. at 1600mhz or 1866mhz. However, the AMD website says only 2 slots at 1866mhz. Although many find they can run 32gb in 4 slots at 1866 or above. This will depend upon the individual Integrated Memory controller on the CPU and the Motherboard. At the speed difference between 1600 and 1866, that represents only a few tenths of milliseconds difference in overall through-put. No noticeable difference to the observer. The reason you may want to exceed the 8gb or 16gb "Sweet Spot", would be to run large Photo Editing, video rendering or large RamDisk. Overall I highly recommend Corsair and this 16GB (C10) Ram Kit. Having said that, IF you can comply with the QVL (Qualified Vendors List), for your Mother Board maker I recommend it. But you will see a disclaimer on the Gigabyte QVL that says "Memory modules listed below are for reference only. Due to massive memory models on the market, we can only verify some of them." Also Note: This RAM is NOT listed on either QVL for the Formula Z or the UD3, but it WORKS. (The C9 IS listed.) But from my usage, it works great on the ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z and the Gigabyte GA990FXA UD3. Update: I just received another 16gb kit and the upgrade to 32gb was smooth on the Asus Formula Z.

Super!
Erg blij met de uitbreiding van mijn werkgeheugen. De metal sleef waarin het zit ben ik ook erg blij mee qua uiterlijk en maakt het ook makkelijker om erin en eruit te halen.
