I've been using Kikumasamune High Moist lotion for 8 years now, and couldn't do without it. I use it twice a day on my face, and throughout the day on my hands (e.g after washing), and any dry areas on my body. It adds a layer of moisture to the skin without leaving it sticky or greasy. The lotion itself is very thin, almost the consistency of water. But once you get used to this, it makes a great base for other products – I use serum, then a heavier moisturising cream on top (on its own, it's not really enough for facial skincare, or for particularly dry areas on the body). Some people mention it has a smell, but I can't say I've ever noticed it. It's also said to have anti-ageing properties, with the secret 'sake by-product' ingredient having been discovered when the hands of workers at a sake brewery looked much younger than the rest of their bodies (they had often had their hands inside vats of sake). Well, I've been told I look much younger than my years, so maybe there's some truth in that too! The only downside really is the size. If you're trying it for the first time, it's pretty big at 500ml, so if you don't react well, there's a lot left over. For me, the size is a plus though, since a bottle lasts such a long time.

Unbelievably good! So moisturising and nourishing. I have extremely dry skin, 2 layers of this and I can usually skip the moisturiser. Very good value too! Highly recommended

When I read the reviews for this lotion, I saw that one woman complained of a rash. But there were so many positive reviews that I thought it was her individual reaction. Well, her reaction is not individual. I also got a small rash on my face after a few days of use. I stopped using the lotion. But, when the rash went away, I decided to give the lotion a second chance. However, everything happened again like the first time. Be aware that the lotion may cause such a reaction. And this is not an isolated case.

Kikumasamune high moist lotion is a 2in 1toner for face and body. Very popular in Japan and made from Japanese sake, to naturally hydrate and brighten the skin. Very effective if you have uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation or dry skin. It is light weight, moisturising and penetrates real quick into the skin.

Je cherchais une lotion hydratante pour compléter ma routine et j'ai été intrigué par cette lotion japonaise au saké. Points positifs: texture très liquide et agréable à appliquer flacon pompe pratique et hygiénique après application, la peau est vraiment douce et apaisée grand format économique qui dure longtemps A savoir: l'odeur fermentée est assez présente au début mais se dissipe rapidement hydratation intense, ne pas trop en mettre au risque d'avoir la peau grasse la texture est légèrement collante sur la peau après application mais vraiment quelques secondes ( bel effet glowy) Je précise que j'ai la peau mixte et sensible ,et que cette dernière ne m'a pas causé d'allergie ou de poussée de boutons. J'aime beaucoup! A appliquer sur le visage et le corps si besoin. mes mains sont devenus hyper douce depuis que je l'utilise . En conclusion: cette lotion est hydratante et très agréable à utiliser . L'odeur qui aurait pu être un frein ne l'est pas du tout . Idéale pour une utilisation quotidienne. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.

Wirklich toller Toner. Wir verwenden ihn schon seit Jahren. Mein nimmt ihn auch nach der Naßrasur. Der Pumpspender ist praktisch und hygienisch u f did große Flasche hält ewig! Also auch ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Ich kann ihn wärmstens empfehlen.
