I’ve tried so many purple shampoos over the years, and this is hands down the BEST one ever. It tones brassiness after just one wash without leaving my hair dry or dull like other brands do. My blonde highlights look brighter, cooler, and salon-fresh every time I use it. The smell is amazing, the formula feels super luxurious, and a little goes a long way. I also love that it doesn’t stain my hands or leave weird purple patches in my hair. If you have blonde, silver, grey, or highlighted hair and want something that actually works, this is 100% worth it. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

This works really well. But wash off immediately! Don't leave it at all or you will go purple! Just a quick swish through is all you need!

I first started using this product after a covid era self bleach job went canary yellow. I applied this to dry hair and left for 30 mins. Thankfully my hair came up white blonde afterwards and I've never looked back. Best toner going. Causes no damage to hair as contains no bleaching agents. When used once a week it keeps your blonde nice and bright. Don't overuse unless you want a purple rinse. Always wear gloves though because purple hands are just as unflattering as canary yellow hair, albeit in a completely different way.

I've coveted this product for a while as the YouTube videos herald this as a magic solution to all your brassy problems. I have spent the past 8 years dying my hair dark plum colour and fighting the grey roots was becoming tiresome. I used 'Colour B4' to strip the plum out of my hair which it did so far better than I had hoped and put Nice n Easy Light Ash blonde over that to lift it closer to my natural colour. This left my hair looking like one of the new shiney pound coins - aka Ginge! I was expecting this to be the case having put red pigmented dye on for so many years. So - I couldn't wait to try out Fanola No Yellow to try toning it down as soon as Mr Amazon delivered it. Firstly, the product was very well packaged - no leaks, spills or seepage so big thumbs up there. I was cautious the first application expecting immediate and drastic change so I wet my hair and lathered it on for five minutes. Gloves are recommended but as I didn't have any I just accepted my fate of purple palms and blue fingernails. The result - I didn't see one so I went on for another go and gave it five more minutes. Again - I could see no difference when I had dried my hair so decided to go all out and walloped another load on dry before leaving another five minutes. I then rinsed and applied a large glob of hair repair conditioner before rinsing that out. After drying my hair I can see a difference, it isn't as brassy as when I started and am happy with the result and feel it was a worthwhile purchase. The gold shimmer has dulled but kept the lighter colouring of my hair. I do recommend applying lots of conditioner and coconut oil / moroccan oil or alternate with both afterwards as it is quite drying. I will try again in a few days to see if regular use has more effect. And will buy gloves!

I have been growing the colour out of my hair for a couple of years now to embrace the grey. My hairdresser uses this shampoo and the first time she used it, I really noticed that my hair was looking a proper silver colour instead of a dull grey. This shampoo is really great - it has a purple toner in it which can leave your fingernails and skin around your nails looking purple; however, that will fade little by little throughout they day as whenever you wash your hands - it can take a couple of days though to complete fade from your nails. My hairdresser recommended I use gloves but it doesn't bother bother me as I prefer to give my hair a proper massage and I can't do that with gloves on! I don't use the shampoo every time I wash my hair - the hairdresser recommended once a month but I sometimes use it every two weeks. The smell of it is okay. I do like this shampoo and would buy it again.

Perfect shampoo. Definitely works. I wear gloves whilst using this as it stains my hands. Recommend.

💜 Fanola No Yellow – El Matizador que Salva Tu Rubio (y Tu Bolsillo) Si tienes el cabello rubio, decolorado o con mechas, seguro que los tonos amarillos no deseados te han hecho una visita más de una vez. Y ahí es donde entra el famoso Fanola No Yellow Shampoo. Lo he probado (y sé que muchas influencers también) y la verdad es que entiendo el hype. Es de esos productos que hacen lo que prometen, y aquí te cuento mi experiencia: ¿Qué hace el Fanola No Yellow? Es un champú matizador violeta intenso que neutraliza los tonos amarillos y deja el cabello con un rubio más frío y ceniza. Es ideal para: • Cabellos rubios decolorados. • Mechas o balayage. • Cabellos grises o blancos que tienden a amarillear. ¿Funciona? ¡Sí! Y rápido. Después de un solo uso, noté que el tono amarillo se había suavizado bastante. Cuanto más lo dejas actuar, más ceniza queda el cabello. Eso sí, no te pases de tiempo o puedes terminar con reflejos morados (te lo digo por experiencia). Lo que me ha encantado: • Resultados inmediatos: Con solo 3-5 minutos en el pelo ya se ven resultados. Perfecto para una solución rápida antes de un evento o cuando sientes que el rubio se está volviendo “pollo”. • Dura un montón: Es concentrado, así que necesitas poca cantidad y el bote cunde muchísimo. • Precio asequible: Comparado con tratamientos de salón, es una ganga. Puedes mantener tu color desde casa sin gastar de más. • Aroma agradable: Para ser un champú matizador, huele bien y no deja ese olor químico que tienen algunos productos similares. Lo que podría mejorar: • Reseca un poco: No es grave, pero si tienes el pelo seco de por sí, úsalo con moderación (1 vez a la semana) y siempre acompáñalo con una mascarilla hidratante. • Mancha las manos: ¡Guantes, por favor! El pigmento violeta es fuerte y puede dejarte las manos moradas (se va, pero da pereza). • Efecto potente: Si lo dejas más de 5 minutos, es posible que te quede un leve tono morado. Si esto pasa, con 1-2 lavados normales se va. ¿Cómo lo uso? 1. Aplico el champú sobre el cabello mojado. 2. Masajeo bien, centrándome en las partes más amarillentas. 3. Lo dejo 3 minutos (si quiero un matiz leve) o hasta 5 minutos para un tono más ceniza. 4. Aclaro con abundante agua. 5. Aplico mascarilla hidratante o acondicionador. ¿Lo recomiendo? Sin duda. Si tienes el cabello rubio o decolorado y quieres mantenerlo bonito entre visitas al salón, Fanola No Yellow es tu aliado. Es uno de esos productos que merece la pena tener en la ducha, especialmente si te gusta el rubio frío o gris plateado. ✨ Consejo final: Úsalo solo cuando sientas que el amarillo aparece. No hace falta usarlo en cada lavado.
