A must for making homemade tortillas! Helps to keep the tortillas warm while other tortillas are being cooked. Allows the tortillas to self-steam to keep them soft and pliable after they are cooked. The warmer itself is very stylish and fits 8inch diameter tortillas. Easy to clean. Could possibly be used to keep pancakes warm as well, though I have not used it for that yet.

These covered ceramic tortilla warmers are not just for tortillas! They’re fantastic for everything from sliced warmed bread to serving pastas or grilled chicken. It works absolutely great at keeping everything warm at the dinner table, all while being so incredibly cheerful to look at. I just warm the base, not the lid, in the microwave for 1.5 minutes before storing our dinner or side dishes at the table. It’s not easy to time everything so all is piping hot at dinner time, which is the way I like it….this is such a great tool that helps. Pop it in the dishwasher and it comes out perfect. We like them so much I now have three! Highly recommend!

Super cute! Keeps tortillas warm and soft, just like homemade! Perfect for taco nights and family meals, love it! Easy to clean. It’s ceramic so be careful when setting it on the sink, easy to clean too.

I've been moving away from microwaving food in plastic. I still store things in plastic but I no longer what to reheat food in it. I have been looking at my plastic tortilla steamer (which I actually use for veggies) and decided to replace it. Ceramic or wood seem like obvious choices. This one is ceramic, it has a vent hole in the lid. It claims to be microwave and dishwasher safe (but NOT for ovens or stove-top use) which sounds perfect. Also, quite frankly it is very pretty. One note of caution, it is ceramic-so I am worried I might accidentally smash it on my stone counter tops, it sounds fragile when I set it down. So far so good. I recommend you reduce the steaming time over plastic as it seems to cook faster in this container.

This is a very nice warmer. It has good weight and is nicely finished. I gave it 4 stars because the lid is very light weight and I'm worried it will chip easily. I'd recommend.
