Got fungus gnats? Use the insecticide with the fungicide!
The first time I used the bio insecticide for fungus gnats, I was hugely disappointed - it didn't seem to make a difference at all! Then I switched to the systemic bonide insect control granules, which worked a treat at first... but the treatment didn't last 8 weeks, it's not cost effective for the number of plants I have, and it only kills larvae. I went back to the Google drawing board and found a ton of other products that also only kill larvae. So I went back to the arber website and poked around a bit, because arber is the only product that claims to kill both larvae and adults. I found that it's recommended to water with the insecticide and fungicide (and spray with the insecticide) every 5 days until the gnats are under control, then use every 2 weeks for upkeep. And THAT combo really did the trick after 3 applications (though my zz plant, which got redonk infested when moved it to the living room when work was being done in my bedroom, could have used 4 full every-5-day treatments the first time). It's clear by the empty gnat traps in my plants that this combination really does the trick for larvae and adults. And it's way more cost effective (and less work than mixing in granules) over the long term. Win!!

Useless.
This stuff is absolutely useless in my experience. Has done nothing to control or suppress any of the pests my plants are experiencing: lace bugs, white flies, mealy bugs (which I know are quite difficult to get rid of, but they’re named in the list on the label of pests that can supposedly be controlled). Even with minor infestations, it’s just getting worse and worse. And yes, I’m using the correct amount. Maybe I just have super bugs, but I would not recommend this stuff at all.

Fixed a long running infestation, but timing is key
It's not as potent as harsher chemicals, but those always damage the specific plant I'm treating, so it's a trade off, but a good one. For the first time in years, I've managed to stave off the annual, brutal aphid infestation on my red current bush. It's gotten mangled every year & now I finally get to see what it's SUPPOSED to look like. Because it's not harsh, you can apply this stuff really liberally- which I highly recommend doing. If used conservatively or too late, it's not gonna do the trick. Consider it a prophylactic, not an instant fix. I like that it's relatively safe to wildlife & won't poison me, my cat, the birds, the bees & won't burn my skin. I also like that it doesn't punch me in the face with cloves or rosemary or whatever herbal concoction usually occurs in 'natural' pesticides. It has an odor of course, but not a noxious or lingering one. And unlike soaps, it doesn't foam or break the water retention of the soil. I applied it right as the buds were emerging, and have repeated it every 10-14 days, paying special attention to the undersides of the leaves and nooks & crannies. It can also be used as a soil drench. I won't be using it undiluted (I'm not made of money lol), but it's definitely safe to use at 2-3x the recommended dilution if needed. The cap isn't great and it leaks a little when I shake the bottle, but other than that, I'm pleasantly surprised with the results.

Excellent product
I give nothing 5 stars. This product is fantastic. Use it as a prevention now. Got gnats. Tried everything. This worked complete.

Not as Advertised
First, we were searching for an insecticide for GNATS, which was not in the list included on the bottle After it was purchased. Second, we followed the instructions on the bottle exactly and poured it into our plants’ soil and other than making the mites scatterer everywhere, it did not kill or control anything; certainly Not the ongoing flying Gnat problems we thought we were bought it for. Apparently, there is no such insecticide on the market that kills Gnats on indoor plants; other than useless “mint” mixtures.

No More Gnats!
We were dealing with fungus gnats in one of our plants, and this has really helped keep them under control. We removed the top couple inches of soil, replaced it with sand and small rocks, and started using this product when we water (which isn’t very often). Since then, the gnats have stayed at bay. We did spot one gnat at one point, used this again right away, and didn’t see any more after that. We’re now continuing to use it as part of our regular maintenance, and it’s been working well.
