Great for coffee and espresso
I usually use this milk for my espresso in the morning and sometimes if I have coffee I will also pour a bit on top of it! I love this brand and enjoy the taste and the price can’t be beat when the ingredients are super clean!

Creamy, frothy, delicious oat milk
I really enjoyed this oatmilk. It's creamier and frothier than some others I've tried. I don't have a milk frother, but this gets frothy just by shaking it up :) I often by store brand almond milk, which I now realize is quite watery compared to this oat milk. The flavor is light and pleasant, and it's not very sweet. I prefer to buy things unsweetened and then add a little bit of my own honey or maple syrup if it needs it. This actually doesn't need it. The oats are naturally a bit sweeter than almond milk so it has a little bit of sweetness without any added sweetener or being overpowering. We just add it to our hot and iced coffee, but I imagine it would work great frothed for a latte as well. The price is okay (currently $25.99 for 6 cartons). It's priced similarly to other barista style oatmilks, however some of those are available at local stores and I'm able to get them on sale for quite a bit cheaper. My only qualm is that for the price, I wish it was organic. I now see though that they do have an organic version and it's not much more expensive, so I will probably get that next time.

Good taste, but not barista ready
I've been looking for a low fat oat milk suitable for making cappucinos and lattes. Unfortunately this fails the test. While the taste is good and the calories low (80), the milk just doesn't foam well. I use a La Marzocco machine and the milk has not body no matter how carefully I try. My original milk of choice was Califia Barista Blend, but that is not low fat. But now after trying all that's available I found Oatly Low Fat to be the best solution. It tastes similar to Minor, but it foams much better, and it's much less expensive than Minor - about half the cost.

barista here and this “light” version is not good. Don’t buy if you want to use for coffee
I’m a 3rd wave barista and love minor figures oat milk (the original barista version) but the “light” one is not good for frothing and coffee. The only reason I bought this was because of shopping online and missed the “lt” on the title and they’re about the same color.. My mistake but bought four of these and they’re just not good for coffee it shouldn’t be called “barista”

Not a Vine reviewer
I have an espresso machine and have been using it to steam my own milk for the last 8 years. Even with a fresh open carton, I cannot get great microfoam from Minor Figures light oat version at all. I’ve tried several times. I’ve even used a thermometer to make sure I’m not over steaming the milk. I know it can be done with their regular version because one of my favorite coffee shops uses them. That’s how I found out about this brand. If you’re looking for a dairy free alternative, there’s plenty of other brands within this price range that are just as good or better. If you’re looking for “barista” oat milk, I’d pass on this one.
