Love the allure of Pirate Ships and this wood working wall hanging will do the job. These grand Old Ships are beautiful and would look wonderful on the wall. The process used to make this is called poker work or Pyrography wood burning. Comes ready to hang on the wall. The size is 16.75" X 16.75". This process has some similarities to our Intarsia work, in that we find (or make) a pattern we like, and then transfer that pattern onto the wood. We then burn the pattern into the wood, using different burning tips to get the desired effect, we are looking for. The shading of each piece is very important and makes each piece just jump out at you. Stain is applied in small amounts in critical areas to make our finished product.
