Partly because it’s one of those things I never thought I’d have in a household setting. And, partly because it looks and works so well.I had previously purchased a countertop paper towel holder. Works well enough. It keeps the paper towels stacked nicely and I just grab one when needed. Sometimes I’ll grab more than one by accident because they kinda stick together. Yes, real first-world problems for sure. But, with this one, it’s just so much more convenient than I thought it would be. Grab a single sheet. Or, grab more if you made a big mess. And, several opened paper towels absorbs a mess much better than a small stack of C-folds does.Quality of the plastic is good. It could have maybe been a little thicker. (it’s not super thick/industrial). But, definitely good enough to hold a stack of paper towels. The paper towel size I used was 9.75 x 3 inches (folded).The ever-so-slightly off-white color is beautiful. And, the minimal tinted gray bottom gives it a clean, modern look. I picked up two different branded dispensers. Both white, both beautiful. They were originally going to go in storage closets. But, I’m going to see if I can get away with mounting one of them somewhere in my newly renovated kitchen.Overall, very, very happy with this dispenser.
