Cat Food Veterinary Diet Fibre Response 4 Kg

I have a ragdoll cat who developed Clostridium Perfringens (caused by house move stress) which resulted in poo on the floor most days over the space of a year - mostly puddles. My only saving grace was she was only doing it in particular areas, so I could put rugs down and clean from that. Tried everything - Vets trips, antibiotics, powdered probiotics, changes of food, Feliway, you name it - powered up by the fact she has feline Coronavirus (which I didn’t know). The Vet Specialist suggested this kibble. Game changer. Noticed a difference straight away with the consistency improving - but after a month - I’m afraid to type it - the poo outside her litter tray has stopped. And her poo actually looks like poo. So even though in the description it says for constipation issues, this Fibre Response has solved this problem of chronic diarrhoea. This product might be more expensive, but it has made our whole household happier, mostly Kitty who has gained weight to normal, and no longer runs to her litter trays 40 times a day with ring sting. It works and I thoroughly recommend this kibble.

My cat spent a week at the vet having enemas and various medications to try and solve her serious constipation. The vet diagnosed megacolon (she was only 1 yr old) and said I'd probably have to give her cisapride tablets twice day for life which filled me with dread. He also ordered some Fibre Response and after a couple of weeks of both tablets and this I switched to just the food, ditched the tablets. The cats' been fine ever since, happy, healthy and has no problems constipation-wise. I give her meat pouches as well, and lots of water. She really like the biscuits thank goodness, long may it continue! Really great product, God knows what's in it but it does the job!

Gastrointestinal Fibre responsive is for cats with constipation, it is not for cats with sickness and diarrhoea. My cat loves this kibble. They are slightly on the larger side which she has sometimes struggled with. Maybe they’re that size far a reason? That is the only negative for me. This is a veterinary diet and it does suggest you speak to a vet before giving these to your cat. My vet recommended these for my cats mild ongoing constipation issues. They are not miracle kibbles and do not replace seeing your vet if you think your cat is constipated. They are more for ongoing support for cats with constipation issues

It certainly does what it says on the packet. My cat was seriously constipated. Every few weeks costing me £150 + at the vets to clear her out. Was told best thing for her was to euthanise her as it was a lifetime problem. Last resort, was to try this Fibre Response. It worked wonders. Now she goes to the toilet normally. Now she can lead a normal life.

I found this product amazing.....my 12 year old cat has suffered with constapation for two years ......I have tried everything to help her vets and so on....the only thing that helped her was liquid paraffin but I had to be careful as to much would give her the runs! .......watching her in pain and so much discomfort when she tried to pass stools was artful ......and that would only be a few times a week....I looked up everything on constapation on line I'm a bit of an expert now!! And discovered these biscuits on sale at Amazon.....it was after reading another customer review that I decided to order.......The day they came I gave Ellie(my cat) a dish of them ,she tucked in to them like they were a treet..not one left. Later that day she went in her tray and passed a stool with complete ease...I was amazed .....that was 5 months ago .....I stopped the liquid paraffin that day no need for it ......she now has a bowel movement most days sometimes twice without discomfort......they have made Ellie and her mum very happy. I feed her a bowl a day and wet food at separate meal times .....and don't worry about it being dry food and using up a cats body fluids, my Ellie drinks lot's of water with her meal......she regards these as a treat , my only complaint is the biscuit in the bag I purchased last has been made smaller, and my cat has a bit off difficulty eating them (her teeth) also she's getting a bit fed up off the same flavour..... would be great if done in beef or fish so she had a change.......Apart from that there wonderful So if you've got a constipated cat please try these... And most importantly my vet hadn't heard of them he was most interested to hear about them....I hope they now recommend them to constipated cat's they treet. Happy cat happy mum...Gillian and Ellie.

After losing one treasured Siamese to megacolon I was devastated when my latest boy was diagnosed with the same. Enemas has very little effect and the vet was very pessimistic as to any kind of long-term help, I was at my wits end until I saw this product discussed on an American vet`s forum. I ordered the biscuits, they were delivered within 2 days, and the cat(and his sister) loved them and wolfed them down. The next day he produced what we`d been waiting for for so long, and has not looked back since!! I feed the two of them(they are 12 years old) 2 sachets of cats food and a bowl of the Royal Canin daily with a big bowl of water ( they do drink more with these biscuits ) although the girl doesn`t suffer with Megacolon she has not been adversely affected and just produces a bit more than usual,AND my boy is back to his old bouncy self! I would recommend this product wholeheartedly, in fact I feel like shouting it from the rooftops so all those poor people whose vets want to put their cats down can buy this too! I am on my third bag, and although it seems a bit expensive it`s cheaper than visits to the vet and seeing your cat suffer. Thank you Royal Canin and Amazon!
