I am reviewing this off-brand for a use that is not the way it's advertized. First, the bags can get wet in the shower and if showering without the bag, the stoma can get wet too. So as a bath cover it's worthless. HOWEVER, if your car seatbelt is right-at-the-level-of-your-f@$@ing-stoma, this produce is the solution. As you sit down, put it on over your clothes, covering the stoma (or top part of the pouch) and then put on the seat belt. The belt holds the cap in place and the cap keeps the belt off your stoma. Easy on and easy off. They sell many products that attach to the bag for this purpose but this is by far the easiest I've found.

This is not water tight but that’s okay. Some water on the bag doesn’t hurt. It keeps things from getting soaked and makes showers so much easier. Love it!

Updating this to add stars and a better review because I figured out how to make this work for my urostomy. Now it's pretty good, but does have a bit of leakage. Even with the water gaining a little bit of access, though, it's still better than showering without it. I requested a return and was granted a refund, but since I made the item work I won't be returning it. Seller is welcome to reverse the refund. Thank you! This didn't work for me because the circumference is enormous. I think it must be designed for an ostomy which is much larger than the typical urostomy. I had to return it and am searching for one designed specifically for a urostomy.

Typical Chinese knock-off: they can steal & mimic the form but not the function. The plastic is not adequate as it warps when the belt is tighten so it won’t possibly be waterproof, not even watertight. It functions as a shield only so I use it every day in the shower as a shield, but not swimming in my pool. So it is half functional, hence 3 stars and I ordered another one for the upstairs shower. Buyer beware!

I am new to the ostomy world. I was so nervous about showering. I know you can shower with or without an ostomy bag. However, since I dont have a hand held shower head, I wanted something to protect the site from getting hit to hard with water. The idea doesnt sound pleasant. My first time I wrapped my body with plastic wrap. I found this and felt it would be much easier. You can use it to cover your bag or your site. Now its not airtight however water isnt going to hurt the bag's adhesive (they are meant to be water proof) and it wont hurt you with out the bag by protecting the water from directly hitting. I lift it forward at some point so the water can run down but still not hit directly.

This product was supposed to be 'Universal" in size but it did not fit over my wife's ostomy bag even when squished very small. Thus there was no way for it to be watertight. Frankly, however, I do not believe it would have been anyway as testing it on her other side, water leaked through when she would flex her stomach or reach or move certain ways. Unfortunately we did not try it until after the return window was over or we would have sent it back.

Best invention ever! I tried the AquaGuard that the hospital recommended - didn’t stick, bubbled and let water seep in. I then resorted to holding a towel over my bag, but it just wasn’t relaxing and I didn’t feel completely clean. I’m so glad my home health nurse recommended this to me! I highly recommend buying/trying it! You won’t regret it!
